Latin Junction

I can't decide what's more addictive for me: being around the folks at Latin Junction or the feeling of becoming a better dancer every day. Before joining Latin Junction, I had been dancing for a while, but I lacked confidence in myself and my skills due to the bad habits I had developed. While I had some 'moves,' I struggled to translate them effectively, my leads were confusing, and it made the whole dancing experience terrible for me. I reached a point where I was extremely disappointed in myself, and I took a few weeks off, fully convinced that I was done with this journey. But then, one day, I heard some Latin tunes and felt a desire for change. I also remembered a workshop I attended, organized by the beloved instructors at Latin Junction. Their breakdown and clarity, combined with their vibrant personalities, left a lasting impression on me and sparked my interest in their studio, months after the workshop (thank you, Ieva). I decided to sign up for trial classes and haven't looked back since!I must also express my gratitude to Felix, who stayed back late one evening, even after a long day of running the studio, just to listen to me. He was genuinely interested in hearing me out and being transparent about what to expect. His willingness to understand me and ensure that I was in the right place for my dancing aspirations meant a lot. He could have easily brushed me off and pointed me to the information already provided, but he took the time to listen, and that mattered to me.What I appreciate about Latin Junction is their emphasis on musicality, social dancing, repetition (you got multiple sessions to go to to ensure you don't miss out), and good technique. And, most importantly, it's the overall vibe of the place that truly stands out. The only minor complaint I have is that the number of students keeps growing every day, but I suppose I can't have the whole experience to myself. hahah :D:D:D:D

I would recommend LJ to anyone seeking a perfect balance of learning and fun. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced dancer, you'll undoubtedly walk away with new skills, wonderful memories and a renewed passion for dance. I have been learning Salsa at Latin Junction for the last 6 months and I have had the best time at LJ. I walked in as a complete Salsa noob, with two left feet and no rhythm to speak of, and within 3 months I was performing a Salsa routine on stage in front of an audience!Felix, Kat, and the rest of the amazing instructors at LJ are not only highly skilled and knowledgeable, but also very caring about their students and passionate about their craft. They go above and beyond to ensure that each student is comfortable and progressing at their own pace.

This studio…where to start..Latin Junction is an incredible, nurturing environment with full of enthusiastic, inspirational and talented dancers and teachers. The team always willing to go the extra mile to help you get the most out of your dancing, either you are a professional dancer or just an amateur or newbie.1. Director of the studio, Felix, is constantly going out of the way to create a safe and enjoyable environment and I always leave the extensive classes with a big smile on my face.2. I appreciate to all the instructors who are dedicated, passionate, friendly, patient, fun yet and most importantly understanding. They will instill the importance of teamwork and pride when pursuing your passion for dance.3. It is a whole package, there are good selection of different styles of dance, such as salsa on1, on2, bachata, kiz, latin fusion, rumba and more.4. Although the endless variety and hours of trainings, classes are greatly technical structured and you can always get a mentoring program if needed. Teachers with good work ethic will make an effort to get to know their students and aimed to better their students inside and outside of dance, the evidence is seen in their numerous performances throughout the year.5. On the other hand you will be surrounding by full of like-minded creative members of the studio is like a second home to many of its pupils. Don't think twice, get yourself to a class asap! I wish I started sooner :) Everyone is welcome here, no matter what your dance or personal background. Great teachers, I have learnt a lot in a short time, and also made many new friends. Seeing all walks of life here, dancing, experiencing joy, is both heartwarming and encouraging - we all need it!

Since I started attending regularly 3 months ago, I've loved and been so grateful for finding LJ more and more. The community has been great, and the instructors have been such standouts!Their incredible skill at teaching, breaking down moves and techniques to help you understand, their patience at fielding questions and providing feedback, their enthusiasm and encouragement for your continued progress, and a good dose of cheek and humour in class to keep you entertained.The fun, laughter, creativity and challenge (especially in Bachata Musicality, Combos and recently Latin Fusion classes) keep me motivated and inspired to continue my dance journey with LJ for a long time to come.

I danced almost 3 months at latin junction and enjoyed it a lot. The best IS that you Can practice everyday if you want to as there are lessons everyday which is rare for a School . Teachers are also really nice and make you feel AT home. I will bé back there After my regional work for sure. Thanks again for this Amazing Time !

Absolutely the best salsa dancing studio in the city! The team is so supportive, kind and makes you feel part of the family. It is such a fun experience that my friends and I would come twice a week and we became very confident in our salsa dancing abilities. Love the team and love Latin Junction!
