Westmead Public School

I am an ex-student from this school and ex-sports captain from here and I an tell you with 100% certainty that THIS IS THE BEST SCHOOL I HAVE EVER BEEN TO! Westmead P.S is like my home and I have never felt so accepted somewhere. I have been here since Kindergarten through to Year 6 and I very much enjoyed the amazing experiences. I was very upset to be leaving halfway through term 2 in Year 6 but still ave the best memories. I also very much recommend this school to any newcomer and assure you that you will have the best of a time making friends. My teachers from Kindergarten have supported me throughout the experience and have been a huge advantage towards success in my learning. THANK YOU TO ALL MY FRIENDS AND TEACHERS!

I feel like the school soooooooo much but no I am not saying anything the school bad do not go to the school

This review and 1star only about year 4 teacher we had a bad experience who always discriminates and not supportive for my son’s opinion, also does body shaming indirectly, discourages him when he participates any activity.Moreover, she has encouraged his classmates to disregard my son’s opinion during project discussions.…There are many instances like thisWe had no other issues with any other teachers from previous grades and we are very happy with school except The particular teacher.

This is the BEST School EVERR!! I would never want to leave such a LOVELY school! Westmead P. S. Is close by to M.J. Bennet reserve and Sydney Smith Park, and it's a really good thing that we walk there on sport days as we all know how to safely cross the road! (And it is good exercise!)They have the nicest teachers that know how to help students who've gotten hurt (physically or mentally) and they have large shaded areas to the point that the entire school can fit under ONE for an assembly or performances (despite approximately 1,400 students)Crowd is not a problem! There is space to eat Lunch and recess and play around either way. WPS makes you feel at home and a part of the Vast Westmead p s community!I DEFENITELY recommend it!

This school is da best! The teachers are so friendly and even though there are so many students/kids in the school, that's one unique thing about this school. The playgrounds are so CoOl! I'm sure everyone is going to enjoy their primary life in this school especially when we have camp and excursions. Camp was really really really fun, in yr 4 our grade went to Taranga Zoo in the city and it was such a wonderful experience. I'm telling you you are going to have so much fun! Make sure you make friends and be kind to everyone :)

I went to this school in the '00s and have very fond memories. The school and teachers always went out of their way to ensure a safe and engaging learning environment that was tailored to each student's learning needs and interests.Loyalty to the commonwealth is an important facet within traditional Australian society, and I am proud to say, as a prefect of this outstanding school, this value of utmost significance is sufficiently upheldThe school takes in all students from its catchment. It is in between. Classes are also streamed and so gifted students are extended.Great school :)

I am an ex-student of Westmead public school and was there from 2005 to 2011. This may possibly be the best school in New South Wales. its been very nostalgic for me to view this school again. ive had no complaints at my time at the school. The staff is very helpful, there were and still are several great facilities and activities to participate in at the school. And the teachers are phenomenal. I was from overseas and had never spoken English, though my kindergarten teacher would take some time out to solely teach me English. The school is very big and very disciplined. Students are awarded well for their efforts, and the teachers really do care. keep in mind that this review is based on Westmead public school during 2005 to 2011, and many things may change during the 6 years.p.s Hello to all other ex-students who may be reading this.
