Great place to visit especially for nothing. Great to read and view history of the Island. I especially loved the display surrounding the WW2 forts.

My kids absolutely loved this museum (age 5, 7 and 15). The 5 year old was asking to go back! I loved learning the history of the island, and the nostalgic 80s section was awesome.

Welcoming, knowledgeable and chatty volunteers, full of interesting tidbits of information.. and the museum itself is a wonderful resource of local history..from the more obvious to the obscure and interesting. Well worth a visit.

Gorgeous place.. was a shame did not stay for long. The museum is a well worth going as well the very helpful they give you a free map and magazine of what to do while there.

Bribie Island Seaside Museum
The museum Is interesting for adults and kids. For adults there’s a wide variety of different historical collections relevant to the area. For kids (and big kids -ok, I’m Guilty) there is a free-drawing space with an “invitation” to do some more directed stuff.Took three kids there and they stayed for over an hour looking and doing different things.
