Maiwand Reception Centre

It was memorable to celebrate our function at Maiwand Reception. The service and food have excellent throughout the program. I will recommend this reception centre is one of the best.

Under new management very clean and hygienic, had the best time with friends and family and food just delicious.Would highly recommend it

Terrible service, the staff gave us bad looks when u asked for something, floor was dirty prior to everyone’s arrival, bathrooms were stinky also. Very disappointed because I have been here before and it was good, but this time was terrible.

I had my second wedding reception at this venue here recently. To say the least, I was disappointed. The venue is really lovely and clean, however how much one enjoys a venue is dependent on the service the staff provide at said venue. I was not impressed. The staff seemed to be on a different page. The attitude of the guy who was in charge said it all. he was rude, reluctant to adapt to our needs and looked peeved half the night. he refused to admit he forgot that our event was a wedding reception. He also refused to acknowledge that we requested some gluten free options for bridal party members who needed them; we had email correspondence of this. Furthermore, he didn't know how to effectively use his own sound system and fix sound issues with the wireless microphone. We were also meant to be given a space for the parents and bridal party to store a few things on the night, this also didn't happen. They also laid the buffet tables in one area against a wall which took 200 guests an hour to get their main meals.

My daughter held her wedding reception at this venue last week.Great service and excellent food!Every guest whom I asked loved the food, including those who were not familiar with Afghan cuisine.Bro Sher was very accommodating and obliging and was able to meet our requirements.I highly recommend Royal Golden Reception.

Happen last night .Worst food ever. Cold, tasteless disgusting food. Cold drink was flat. Asked them 5 times but really disappointed. Everything is Over priced. Really think 10 times before going to this place. They use left over food.

Great venue awesome host(Sher). Always made me welcome. This is my 6th time being as a guest as well as host been here and always have been over and above expectations.Food is as usual awesome as well as place itself.Looking forward for my next visit.
