Over the last period I have been dealing with Grant with regards to our home entry wall project. Throughout this time, Grant has been corresponding with me constantly, keeping me up to date with my order and giving expert advice. Amongst others things, he has been extremely helpful in finding a capping for our wall, which was a size that was out of the norm".This project has been made a lot easier due to his expert product knowledge and Customer Service skills. Truck Driver Mario (Top Bloke) Polite , Punctual , Helpful , delivered to us within the Hour.Wasted 2 Trips to other local warehouses , ( Hopeless , Futile )..Their timber was Rubbish. Outstanding service and products.Needed some specific and unusual lengths of treated timber, which was cut and planed to my specs and available very quickly.Later needed some large cement pavers of different sizes to form the foundations of a shed and greenhouse and these were delivered the day they became available (I needed more than were available at the time) to my residence and left neatly on pallets on the verge.All communications were by email with Grant from trade sales and his, responses were prompt, friendly, helpful, and informative.Highly recommend Hayters for all your timber and paving needs.

My last few experiences here have been very disappointing and in some ways infuriating, as for 45 years we have been using Hayters purely to support local business. However one visit where they charged me $70 for cutting two cobblestones in half was quite perplexing. Then my dad ordered Austral pavers for they charged full price, and to top it off they charged $230 for a delivery which was under 7km. They delivered two pallets of the most crumbly seconds which could not even gave a rubber mallet used on them as they just fall to pieces.You guys should be ashamed of yourselves. As a Building Quality Assurance consultant, Hayters will no longer be getting the business of our clients. There are plenty of other places to get quality customer service and products without having to deal with these second generation business owners who operate in this way with the customers who have referred so much business over the years.

One of the widest ranges of pavers available to choose from, almost too many. Everything from natural stone to the new large format porcelain pavers to clay and concrete. Some products were no longer available however that happens with any industry / products but they still had almost too many to choose from. Made it hard to pick actuallyFantastic range of timber products too, this is truly a one stop shop. We've got a heap of work to do at home still so they've got my attention for sure. Best thing too is they do trade price so very competitive prices without having to wait for a competitor to have a 20% off sale, which only comes off their much dearer retail prices anyway...And the staff there have such a combined wealth of knowledge, so much more than the large hardware chain where they simply grunt, shrug their shoulders and point you to some another staff member down in aisle 54. Best advice, best price and best products will definitely have me going back to Hayters for the rest of my building products. Thanks to the staff there for all their help and professional advice.

Today was the worst customer experience i have ever recieved in my life. I arrived into the office to enquire on my order as i did not recieve a phone call. The staff member was not interested in helping me and was rude, arragant and brushed me off and said look around and find someone to help you"...disgusting service i was left on my own to find someone to assist me.Every single person no matter where they come from should be treated with respect

An outstanding experience! From the first instance Grant was generous with his time and provided great product knowledge and advice. I placed an order late in the day which anywhere else would not have me seeing a delivery. No, they were entirely accommodating and I received it exactly as promised within 1-2 hours! Very impressed! Thank you.

Excellent service and prompt delivery.Grant responded to my emails with professionalism.I was pleasantly surprised that he addressed my queries over the weekend, and my parcel was in the post on Monday =)
