Seriously don't bother go to the caravan park across the road you won't regret it, it's a little gem!

A beautiful spot on the Kiewa River river but it needed mowing and tidying up

THIS IS NOT A CAMPGROUND. I showed up planning to roll the swag out for the night. The place looked ok but there are signs everywhere that say no camping, and it’s right next for the local CFA. Stayed at the caravan park over the road instead, great people!

Certainly not looked after from the previous time other photos taken. Needs a good mow the weeds were over a meter.

Bit disappointed...has good reviews but grass very long and very ....little area to fish on bank...as it has huge trees with great shade but not sure about camping under them... Not sure about van set up there permanently by looks of it.(corn growing out front of van...good sign they're staying a while.) think I'd guve this a miss.. Lively little caravan park over road.. Looks a lot more inviting...

Nice lil camp spot not far from town

Sad looking place. Looks like folk have set up camp to live there. Not very nice. Over grown. Was here years ago really run down now sad. These folk will get these spits ahut down.

Flat well grassed camping area on a bend in the Kiewa river. There are plenty of mature trees for shade and an all weather gravel access road. There are two pit toilets, but no water or power and no firewood and it was a bit hard to find firewood along the roads nearby as well. There is a local store a short walk across the bridge that sells ice, some food, gas etc. The river is mostly shallow and clear with a sandy bed that is good for swimming and kids to play in. There is a rope swing. It was popular with grey nomads on our visit, and locals dropping by for a swim. We noticed the noise from nearby roads, and from one camper who seemed to be semi permanent and ran a cheapo generator for about 15 hours each day.
