Super clean rooms, super friendly staff. Will definitely be back. Highly recommend.

Close to townGood parkingLarge shower with great water pressure.Stayed for 2 nights ..rooms are in bad need of a renovation , the pool was closed. Most disappointing part was that our room wasn't made up during our stay ..wet towels that we left on floor not replaced, bed not made(didn't expect clean sheets) coffee bar not topped up all they did was empty the bin.A sign for a $30 fee if you put your bags or used the spare bed was a bit rude..lucky my hubby doesn't snore so I didn't need to use the other room to get some sleep in a room I had already paid for.Place has plenty of potential if done right atm its only good for a stop over that has an awesome shower.

The young lady at reception was very welcoming. Room was lovely and clean. Bed was very comfortable. Will definitely be back.

We just stopped in here to sleep. We judged the appearance from the outside. Nice, clean, modern rooms inside and the owner booked us in around 8pm.

The family run Castle is a gem amongst roadside motels. It is fresh, recently refurbished, with good sized rooms, comfortable beds, great hot water and a lovely garden area.The owners take a lot of pride in maintenance and guest comfort, and the housekeeping staff are also friendly and helpful.I had a lovely comfortable four night stay here and recommend it for a Castlemaine break.

The room was very clean. The bathroom was modern and had a great shower. Good value.

Spick and span budget rooms that are a 5 min walk to the centre of town. Maybe request a room not facing the main road if you're a late sleeper, as the traffic can get noisy.

Very clean, comfy bed, great pillows and shower. Expensive though at $214 for a couple!

Checking in was a breeze - the staff were welcoming and friendly. The room was comfortable, clean and warm. The after service when I realised I had left behind a few items was excellent - I will be back!
