Tasty Buns 包好吃
After 30 years living in Hobart, we got to eat fried radish cake and it was authentic and delicious. The BBQ pork pastry was just perfect. Not too sweet and crumbly pastry. Prawn dumplings had good quality fresh prawns. Tasty dim sums had generous portion of pork. Chicken Sticky Rice With Oyster Sauce was full of flavour. Place is small and closes at 6pm.

the food is as described in the name of the place. yummmmm. they have vegan options too! one veg bun, the red bean bun is like a sweet treat and the bao bun sandwich! so good! the girls that worked there were very nice and let me add more to my order. highly recommend

Small little place. Mostly do takeaways but still has 3 tables for sit downs.Had the braised beef with rice. Some vegetables in the clay pot. Beef was braised well and was soft and tender. Fried dumplings was very tasty. Radish cake was also nice. Really great value.Service is efficient. Will be back to try the Portuguese tart. It really looks good.

Came to Hobart for holiday, didn’t expect any good Chinese food around here. Ordered a congee, an egg tart and a roasted pork puff to take away and we had to go back to have dinner the next day. Their special fried rice is one of the bests. The hot and sour soup was on spot! Highly recommend to anyone after Chinese food in Hobart.

I came to Hobart from Melbourne for a conference at a hotel next door. Not liking the provided lunch I went to Tasty Buns. Had black beans pork ribs steam rice, hot and sour soup and a Portuguese egg tart. The food is fresh, all elements done well and thoughtfully, that tastes like home cooked with love.

In house bakery means the freshest most delicious yum cha dumplings and bao buns you’ll eat. All day congee too. Have had breakfast here 3 days in a row

A cosy and small place that serves simple and yet delicious Cantonese food. We went there for brunch and the food was quite authentic. All reasonably priced. We particularly enjoyed the cold soya milk and iced lemon tea. Not too sweet and full of flavour. There are unfortunately only three tables. So, not the most comfortable place for dine in.

I had chicken feet was so tasty it was like a satay taste , (great for cologne) then I also had pork sui mai they where nice. Great food cheap and fast

Very tasty vegetarian fried rice. Usually I’m not a fan of Chinese food but the dish was great. Service was great and the environment was very calm and homey
