Chargefox Charging Station

Good location and conveniently located amongst Chatswood shopping district and a short walk into Westfield. It’s only two spaces, so likely always occupied particularly on the weekends. Often prone to ICE’ing and being used as a Loading Zone by delivery drivers and armed security trucks which is really frustrating. If you use the rearmost parking space and your charge port is on the rear passenger side, you’ll need at least a 7 meter cable which is still a tight fit. The Chargefox App tells you if the two plug sockets are in use or not before you arrive, so it’s worth getting the App and setting up an account. Most frustrating thing about this location is it’s paid parking with a paltry 1 hour limit. Council really need to increase this limit a bit or try to add more spaces. But in summary, it’s good for a quick top up whilst you shop if it’s not in use. It’s BYO type 2 charge cable of course.

Often used as a loading zone for deliveries, so hit and miss whether it’s available. One port will need a very long cable if your car charges at the back left corner.

Great location for charging but very prone to ICEing and maximum 1 hour ticket parking.
