Hakuna Matata Resort
We just attended the resort for a reunion. It was the perfect spot to celebrate. The amenities were above expectation with access to the kitchen area and loved swimming in the dam. Kieran was very accomodating to our needs. We were able to access the area easily with our 4WDs but we did carpool once we got to the resort as Kieran advised us would be needed. We will 100% be back…looking forward to seeing the property in winter next time.

beautiful, tranquil location full amazing wildlife and an even more amazing host! Kieran always keeps the sites tidy and stocked with plenty of wood to get a warm fire going, great off grid spot.

I booked hubby, and I a weekend at Hakuna Matata to relax and enjoy some much needed time away from our busy lifestyle. We stayed in the Mufasa safari tent, which was very comfortable and cosy. We loved the pizza oven and outdoor shower. Kieran was an awesome host! We definitely will go back again.

This was a fantastic property if you are looking for a REAL camping experience, great views and Kieran was just amazing - super friendly and helpful. The only downside was that we had no camp shower for the long weekend, in 30+ weather.

One of the best campsites I’ve ever been in. The host Kieran is such a great hospitable guy. He answers your queries fast and is easy to talk to. The website knows how to set expectations but what’s good about it is you’ll surely get more than you paid for.

This is the perfect spot for being one with nature. Waking up with the sunrise and the sound of birds and everything else around us for the 2 night we stayed was absolutely magical.The fire place and pizza oven were adding to the super relaxing atmosphere.Got to the closet parking spot (circa 300-400m away from the site) with my 2 WD and Kieran helped us with getting our stuff in his 4WD the same on the way out.

We had a great stay here, kiaran was very accommodating and helpful. There are multiple site options. The surroundinga are beautiful.Recommend a trip to the farmers wife distillery while you're there - it's only 8 mins down the road.I would suggest travelling here in a 4x4 or raised vehicle as our little car had a few scraps and bumps on the track up to the camp site.
