Very busy with tourists, the wax figures were pretty good. The information displayed with the figures was very informative. The guitar room was interesting.

Worth the visit to the golden guitar. The information centre is interesting as well with signed guitars from country royalty. Worth the visit.

I think it's required by law that you stop here for a photo when visiting Tamworth. Had a feed in the Cafe which was nice but I would have like to have seen a wider range of souvenirs in the gift shop.

Australia loves its ‘big’ things and in the home of country music a giant golden guitar seems appropriate. There is a tourist information centre and small museum in the building beneath the guitar. Essential photo spot to mark your visit to Tamworth.

Quite awesome with it's huge guitar, information centre, wax mesuem & tasty Cafe. A few good hrs spent here & we loved it all!

Lots of information to read and plenty to look at. The giant golden guitar was a bit of a disappointment. I thought it would be bigger and shinier. The caravan parking is uthe road behind the centre which wasn't well marked.

It's big, it's gold and it's a guitar. Not quite as big as our Pineapple in Queensland, but it lived up to its name. Would be great to see it relocated to the Country Music Hall of Fame instead of next to Maccas' Golden Arches. Good place to stop for tavel tips with friendly staff :-)

Visited the Golden guitar cafe today, a regular choice of ours for coffee or lunch. The food is always 1st class!We are always greeted by the friendly staff at the tourist information desk upon our arrival,who, if we weren't locals, would be happy to help us with anything to do with the area & surrounds.The giant guitar out the front of course is a great photo opportunity & with fuel stations, a chemist & homewares shops nearby it's a handy place to stop.

This is an enjoyable stop - especially if you like C and W music. The guitar collection is great - when the collection expands it will be great. They also sell a Tamworth based Monopoly collection (what will they think of next?!)
