Rent That Rack - Kidman Park & Churchill Centre

Was quiet, messy, and the pricing was all over the place. There were some good items but the pricing was too expensive. There were cheap brands like Anko sweats priced for $10. I think if you're going to be situated between 4 op shops, you should consider more competitive pricing.

I have been to Rent a rack multiple times, each time I've walked in I am optimistic and on every occasion find something to add to my wardrobe, whether it's a full outfit, accessories etc. Would highly recommend ! The staff are always helpful and willing to lend a hand to identify whether items suit or don't! Thanks to the Rent a rack crew ! I will be back.

I have rented many racks over the past 15 years and have always made my money back, plus a bit more. I am a huge supporter of recycling clothing rather than it going to landfill. Rent that Rack is the ONLY place I have ever lost money. The Regency Park store is so large that items are easily stolen, plus customers don't have time to browse all the racks. On top of that the owner/staff makes a huge deal if you don't have the exact amount of items allowed even if they fit comfortably on the rack, threatening to take them down and put them in their store room. I have good brands of clothing including Cue, Witchery, Review and Gorman to name a few, however, given all items are reasonably priced as they should be, without being able to have a decent amount of items on the rack it is impossible to make any money. The vibe I got from the owners/staff was that they cater for their friends with high end expensive designer items which is how they make their money. Steer clear of this company... there are heaps of smaller preloved stores out there now who will take care of your clothes, ensure they aren't stolen and be flexible with the amount of items you have on your rack.

I wanted to give an honest review of my experience with Rent a Rack. It is a great idea and the staff were lovely. I rented a family rack for two weeks ($280) and topped up as I sold items. My sales added up to $288 which after I deducted the cost of the rack and the $8 for over 100 safety pins my Net profit was $0. This was despite having brands such as Tommy Hilfiger, Ralph Lauren, Witchery, Nike etc. Almost everything was priced between $10 - $20. Unfortunately, I also lost about 8 items of good brand stock that was either lost or stolen. It was a lot of work pricing, setting up and packing down for no financial gain for myself.

Awful experience!First of all, do not trust their false advertising on the social media channels as you do not make alot of money.Secondly, they claim that they have 16 cameras inside their store. Hence, people come and steal your clothes and the store manager is least bothered about it.It is just a waste of time, money and energy.I do not recommend this place to anyone.

I have sold items at ‘Rent that Rack’ on several occasions. I have always found the girls very friendly, helpful and responsive to my enquiries during my rental periods.I have made quite a good profit selling my handbags so I have been extremely happy there. Shoes have sold well also. Clothes haven’t done quite as well however I believe this is due to the volume of clothes in store & my brands/styles weren’t overly competitive with other clothing items in the store. Overall I have been very happy with the service the provided and my profits.My advice to making a profit in this store - try to have unique products in the store, present them well and pop in regularly to tidy and top up your rack to keep it looking amazing :)

Absolutely love the concept behind “Rent That Rack”! I’ve had multiple racks there over the last 2 years and make a huge profit every time! The owners are beautiful and caring people and I will definitely continue to book a rack there in the future.

I’m absolutely shocked at the service I’ve received from this place after having a rack for 3 weeks and not only not making a profit but actually paying the store $180 and losing 10 of my items because they apparently went “missing.” They wouldn’t admit the items had been misplaced and said they may be on other racks and that I had to look for them myself. I’m convinced they were stolen. I sold 4 items in 3 weeks, even whilst having a 40% off sign on my rack! When I questioned the owners of the store being quiet they lied and said it was quite the opposite and that they were very busy. I visited the store 3 times and not a single person was in there and then luckily one of the workers was kind enough to admit the place had been dead for weeks and not a single person had walked in the store that day. Paying $240 for a rack and making $69 is an absolute joke and I’m very unhappy with the fact I haven’t made any profit and I’m just paying this business money for no reason. I wouldn’t recommend anyone to use these services! The owners are rude and lie and I won’t be returning there again. I can’t fault the other workers as they were kind enough to be honest and try and help. I have previously had a rack at preloved and made over a thousand dollars in 3 weeks so I will definitely be sticking with them in the future!

Awful. Had been a loyal customer and bought many clothing items on various occasions. Wanted to support the slow fashion industry but had to reschedule the rack booking on 2 occasions as I had no car/no way to get there, then had Covid/moving house/going overseas, so needed to reschedule to sometime in 2023. Instead, was called a BURDEN for asking for 4 reschedules (was only 2x) and refused a refund/partial refund as I was changing my mind". Will not be using these services again and will not have a nice thing to say about them in future (I am very sorry that I have to leave such a review). Also find that staff are always on their phones when I walk in so I struggle to believe that rescheduling is a burden

The best shop I have ever been too. I am there every week mens and women's clothes amazing. Incredible friendly service by the team highly recommended. Amazing quality clothes love that is for men and women thank you xx
