Love this place. Jackie is a legend. I kind of don't want to tell people because this is the kind of place I would rather keep as a secret so they aren't booked when I need a cut, but have to support a business like this. Great haircuts. Love their work.

I was offered hand sanitiser upon arrival, then a short wait in their reception area where I checked-in using the NSW Government COVID-19 QR code, then I was ushered to a comfy seat.I asked for a colour, cut, and to have my hair put up for a cocktail party later tonight.They matched my existing colour really well, and took off a few inches of dead ends because I hadn't seen a hair stylist for a while. Each staff member was friendly and everyone worked together as a productive team.I didn't really have a style in mind, but they'd obviously done this before because it looks amazing (no photos sorry). I'm really happy and have made another appointment for a regular cut and colour in a couple of months.This was no-fuss and reasonably priced.Thought it was good service so I'm letting others know.

Personally I had a terrible experience with my old salon which led me to come to GD hair studio in Merrylands.Customer service is anything you can ask for and more. Welcoming, honest, and caring. Makes you feel like family.Cuts are always done in the exact way as I desire. I come weekly for wash and blow dry and always so satisfied leaving the salon.Honestly couldn’t ask for more in a salon.

Love coming into the cleanest hairdresser salon. They're excellent with their appointments. It was my first time visiting this salon and I absolutely loved it from the moment i walked in. Jacky coloured and cut my hair she was amazing, loved the colour and hairstle she did, very professional and a very friendly attitude. I will definitely be back no doubt I am very happy with the service and the price is very affordable which makes it even better. I had a very good experience and I highly recommend them. Thank you again for the great service you guys are doing an amazing job.

While the staff here are super nice I won't be going back to this salon. I went for a haircut and showed a photo of the length I wanted however the hairdresser had cut way too much then expected. It looks nothing like how I wanted it to look and I walked away very emotional that day as my hair took me almost 2 years to grow to that length. I was too upset to even complain and if I did it's not going to fix anything as my hair takes a very long time to grow. Just really disappointed the hairdresser didn't try to do what was in the example photo I shared.

Booked an appointment with the owner George last week for colour and some foils. As soon as I walked into the salon I was impressed with how nice and welcoming everyone was. George came over straight away and spent a long time asking me exactly what I wanted with my hair and explained what he was going to do. He put in a full head of foils and an all over colour which came out amazing. Really impressed with the result and will definitely go back $240.00 was expensive considering I have short hair (a bob) but I am really happy with the result

I feel very ripped off by this placeI went there 3 times and I thought they would treat regular customers wellBut last times I was charged $90 for trim, regrowth colour and blow dry, I was gobsmacked when I was charged $150 for the same thing 6 weeks later. I will be taking my business elsewhere. Also there was a bug in my complementary coffee which was disgusting.On the upside the colour was done well.
