Lyell provided an excellent, high quality pre-purchase inspection report. He was extremely diligent, friendly and communicated very well. I would use Lyell and his services again and would highly recommend to others.

Lyell did an excellent job of installing our new light fittings and checking our RCDs and Smoke Alarms as well as helping us with a query re an outdoor switch. He was very professional easy to talk with and ensured he left the home clean and tidy after the installation. When I made the booking text and email confirmations were received and on the day another text alert indicated when he would arrive which was very close to the initial booking time. He is the best electrician we have used and we were so pleased to have found him thanks to many positive reviews online. We highly recommend him.

After ringing up several businesses regarding the work I needed done Lyell was 1 of 2 people that actually contacted me back. He was able to make an appointment that suited my availability. He was prompt did a great job for a fair price. He was also very polite. Great service and will definitely use this service again.

We used AVL to do a pre sale electrical inspection of our first home. There was a short turnaround, which they had experience with. They completed a thorough inspection and completed the report, which was easy to decipher in time for our deadline.Thank you for relieving some of the stress that accompanies purchasing a home.

Edited:Prior to these events, AVL provided great service and had fast turn around times.This review is only based on my most recent times seeking services - one query back in July didn't receive a reply at all (I sent a screenshot to the owner showing my message of said query, so maybe it was missed or forgotten). The most recent query did eventually - but I feel that a timely acknowledgement of receiving the query would have been helpful. Even if that comes as an automated email with expected time frames etc.After one query isn't responded to, the next time a response doesn't come, I'll have to assume that they do not want to take on a job.

I’ve had the best experience working with Lyell. I made my decision to use his services based off Google Reviews and am more than happy with the service. We had a large project involving making multiple surface mounted wires flush, installation of multiple power points and rewiring on an older home. Lyell was quick, responsive and went above and beyond for our project. The work was completed to a very high standard and even when there was a very small issue, Lyell returned to fix it all up for us. There was no mess left behind and all was completed on schedule. The cost for service was very reasonable.
