I swear the food here is better every timeI come. I went the other night with a friend and we had the Birria tacos to share - the consommé was delicious, the tacos themselves were just perfect. I then had a burrito bowl with shredded pork and the balance of the fresh ingredients with the richness of the pork, beans and rice was so so good. Absolutely loved it and will be back soon for sure.

Great new restaurant that does SoCal Mexican very well. As someone who has spent a lot of time in L.A., this is just like the good local Mexican restaurants there. Great flavours, great cocktails and excellent service. This place is already popular for good reason.

Unfortunately I found the food pretty poor. The chicken was over cooked, the cheese sauce runny (like butter) so hard to dip your chips into it. The service was pretty poor too, it was obvious the lady serving us didn't want to be there.

The food at Mission District is fabulous. The ingredients are always fresh, and they make all their salsas in-house. The service is friendly, too. They do get quite busy sometimes, so if you want to dine in, be sure to make a booking ahead of time.I highly recommend the mango habanero salsa if you like spicy food with some sweetness to it. We are hoping that they will soon sell their salsas by the bottle!

Been meaning to go here for a while now … popped in for taco Tuesday and feasted on three delicious tacos - fish, chicken and cauliflower YUM. Went down so easily with a Tecate and finished with churros. Perfect. Reminds me of the days in Mexico! Definitely worth coming back

Pretty disappointed with the tacos the tortillas were stuck to the paper under and ripped when trying to peal them off. They were over filled with wet beans that made them soggy and so pricey considering the quality

Fabulous place. Been here twice now. Authentic Mexican food, great fit out, great drinks, great staff and reasonably priced. Also, the best fried chicken I've ever had :-)

We have had both a takeaway and dine in experience at Mission District & our expectations were exceeded on both occasions! We’re already looking forward to our next visit as the staff are so friendly, the food is delicious & of course the margaritas too!!
