I just purchased a silver MG HS PHEV Essence at MG Brighton. Mark Print was the salesperson who helped my wife and I finalise the model and assisted throughout the purchase and post purchase period. The purpose of buying the car was primarily for short runs have both an eco yet luxury car experience.1. Mark himself was fantastic. He has been informative and extremely patient to help us given our change in colour choices and the situation with the delivery delays having us to wait almost 6 weeks for the car to get delivered. Mark kept us posted on a regular basis by calling us and advising where the car was in its scheduled delivery to us. We wanted custom plates so Mark also facilitated us having choices for slimlines although finally we went for our own plates. I am quite thorough in my choices so it did cause a lot of to and from but I always found in Mark a respectable, courteous and patient salesperson, which made the experience really pleasant for us. Just around delivery, Mark contacted us every other day to keep us posted. He was really diligent and gave us detailed insights of every feature that the HS had... Marks a great guy and you would be well looked after to approach him for any assistance to buy the car. A word for Matthew, the manager of the showroom as well. Extremely kind, courteous and helpful person. I definitely bothered both Mark and Matthew a lot but can vouch for their objective and helpful attitude.2. The car itself has been really nice to discover and drive. It's smooth and quiet. Given I drive both a landrover Discovery and a Porsche cayenne, its amazing to see how comparable so many features of the Essence model are in terms of luxury and comfort which given MG's heritage of now being a Chinese label shows how well they have done to compete with the big brands...no wonder you can see so many MGs on the road and seems they are giving the big brands a run for their money both with the excellent feature value offering as well as comparable comfort and looks. I must admit I am finding the internal screen response time to changes in options a tad bit too slow and the system seems a bit glitchy with it turning off at random ....and now I am noticing the consumption ratings a bit odd given its a hybrid. The consumption itself has mostly been around 6.5L/100kms, hasn't gone below 5.5L/100kms even in only short range driving...still early days so I am wondering whether the claimed hybrid range of 2L/ 100kms is just under test conditions or city driving... Hoping the 30 day safety check will have all the issues assessed/ sorted.3. I also purchased the ceramic paint, leather protection and sunscreen blackout films deal from the dealership. I feel the leather protection treatment was a shoddy job with so many dirt marks showing the cleaning cloth used was probably old...and then so many corners across the leather trims and seats patchy and being left out uncleaned... the ceramic paint protect near the boot hasn't been done right with even minor droppings hard to get out...I'd probably save the $1650 odd and get it done externally through someone else rather than from the dealership (this wasn't sold to me by Mark so just avoid getting carried away to buy it after finalising your car choice as it's not something discussed during the car price/sales finalisation but afterwards by one of their sales ladies)...definitely very low quality engagement there at the final delivery stage with no showcasing of what was done other than handing us a leather cleaning package.Overall, a very good experience with all staff very responsive and engaging.. .full marks to Mark Print for a professional and courteous, seamless sales process with a willingness to help at all stages...Hoping the car performance stabilises and delivers the claimed benefits as I am only within the first 3-4 weeks of use and not seeing the mileage savings yet..A sincere thank you to everyone @MGBrighton - we are really happy with our purchase overall! I'll def update with more reviews in the next few weeks :)

My partner and I recently purchased a brand new MG3 here and couldn't be happier. We had an awesome experience due to the incredible service from Ben. From the moment we stepped in the door we felt at home and looked after.He is very knowledgeable, friendly and always available to answer any questions over the phone throughout the whole process. This was our first experience buying a new car and he was very patient and thorough to make sure we felt comfortable and had all the information to make an informed decision. The car arrived within a week as well. An unexpected, yet very pleasant turnaround!Seriously couldn't recommend Ben enough. Thanks again!

They're a big company so can provide a good range of cars. I appreciated their assistance in getting our EV. But the pickup was underwhelming. The financing was opaque and the handover was sloppy. Those guys seriously need to go to a charm school to make car purchase more of a celebration rather than an afterthought at the end of the day. Let's hope their servicing is a better experience.

Such a challenge and stress buying a new mg from Brighton MG. Salesman rude and put pressure to sign deal immediately. Promised vehicle by end week and the latest 2 weeks . I had to call to keep checking , to be shouted at by him , he had no idea who he was talking to and then Told me he had 60 clients and did not care . As vehicle was urgent and deadlines not met, I sourced the vehicle from MG Dandenong . This was 5 weeks after I signed with Brighton .Wow when Brighton heard I wanted to cancel deal they started to do the dance and offered a loan vehicle . This was on Saturday , everyone was jumping up and down . I placed the order with Dandenong the same day and took delivery on the Wednesday . Joke of all jokes got message from Brighton the following Monday saying they had the car . I was already driving new vehicle . They then kept my $500 deposit , refunded $80 as a penalty for cancelling the deal. Be careful before you sign contracts as you may get penalised for their non performance !!!!! Disgusting that they penalised me when they lied , were rude and could not deliver. Pamela Rothschild PS Dandenong we’re amazing and moved quickly and kept their word . 5stars to MB Dandenong . MB Brighton did the $420 penalty of my hard earned money really increase your bottom line . Buyer beware dealing with Brighton MG!!!!!!

Fantastic customer service. Kay has looked after us extremely well and guided us very well to make the best possible decision. She's been super helpful and extremely efficient. Not only happy with the car but also with how we were looked after so far. It feels good to be in good hands!
