Palace Hotel
We had drinks and dinner here and throughly enjoyed our evening. Lovely bar with lots of comfy seating. Friendly bar staff and dinner at the restaurant was great. The beef stew and the stuffed jalapeños spring rolls were standouts.

What can I say! ,...whaooo,whaooo,whaooo.I loved the people running it, and the place was so unreal......fantastic location and best experience in a hotel such like the Palace...You cannot not to miss a visite...!A must go!Thank you EstaNino and John

Restaurant and Bar is excellent. Staff are fantastic. Food and drinks list are excellent. Wouldn’t stay in the rooms again though. Completely worn out.

Great decor and friendly service. An icon!Both quite disappointed with our meals. Steak was gristly, schnitty was dry and oysters were watery like they'd been caked with ice when frozen. Asked for mushroom sauce and got given tomato.2 stars for great staff and 1 star for delicious jus

Interesting artwork in this hotel. We enjoyed a late lunch (the waitress asked the chef to stay awhile when she saw us pick up a menu) and a few drinks. Definitely worth a visit.

More than just pub food! Very good quality meals that were delicious. Lovely grand old pub with an amazing history. Room was recently updated and access to a beautiful grand balcony.

We visited The Palace Hotel on an October Wednesday night for dinner (one adult and two kids). We were wondering why the rest of town was so quiet and a lot of other places were closed? Well the answer was because everyone was at The Palace Hotel for Karaoke Night. The dining room was packed but the staff asked us to wait while the tables turned over and we were seated on the lounges for about 20 minutes. The food was very good pub grub though it did take a little while given the full dining room. Tables were turning over quickly as the party kicked off next door and people moved into the other bar. We tried the beef schnitzel with mash and veggies, main size spaghetti bol, kids nuggets and chips and then sticky date puddings with butterscotch and ice cream. The staff were very busy but friendly and helpful. The servings were generous but we were able to finish it all. All in all spent about $96 for three people including soft drinks and sharing desserts.
