Very disappointed .HHG were highly recommended, we were informed they were a local lawyers that we could talk face to face with, but no the lawyer flew back to Perth next day, then was late or postponed video calls, then half way through our case we were appointed other lawyer from HHG, to just have to start all questions and answers again mean -while charging still for every phone chat video calls n closed office visits that had to be repeated , finally had first court case and there was no fight for us, to the point that they Biro ink over our paperwork and judge wasn't happy and rejourned our case to months down the track, by then we totally ran out of money, and we are now left to represent ourselfs.. Totally unprofessional especially to us smaller people in this world. Have totally made our lifes more stressful...

I recently underwent the stressful ordeal of representing myself in a setllement trial at the Family Court of WA. HHG had been advising me, and representing me when I was out of the country in 2020. However, while I couldn't afford representation at trial, I was very grateful to Claire Harrison of HHG. Claire visited Albany at the time of my trial. She made herself available for two early morning coaching sessions at HHG's offices before court proceedings on the first two days. She also made a couple of discreet trips to the public court area to observe proceedings.In short, Claire coached me on how to ask questions, and how to respond to questions. She also provided me with many excellent cross-examination questions based on my opponent's affidavits. Finally, she suggested a closing question during my cross-examination of my opponent, which was highly effective. Based on her court visits, she gave invaluable feedback and further coaching.I still await the judgement of the Family Court. However, I think it's certain that Claire's assistance will save me a significant amount of money in settlement. What I can say with certainty is that Claire's friendly, empathetic and yet strict approach gve me so much confidence each day walking in to the courtroom. While I was still nervous, I now had a metaphorical sword and shield, each fashioned by Claire. I thank her from the bottom of my heart for that.
