Catninga Station
Spent the October weekend here in site 4 (bush site with a long drop toiler). Very peaceful spot with great views from the homestead down to Spencers Gulf. Thoroughly enjoyed my time on the tag along 4wd tour up to the base of Mt Brown, again with truly spectacular views! While it was dry, the gully breezes and shade made it very comfortable. Enjoyed the hospitality of Heather and Brian as well. Recommend people check it out!

Very good station stay location. Accommodation, camping, 4WD track. Only 3.5 hrs from Adelaide and 15 mins from Pt Augusta.

Brilliant!Brian & Heather couldn't be more accommodating.We've stayed at the bush campsites, in the caravan (when the weather was bad), hiked up to the hut on the Heysen Trail there's also the B&B accom in an old train carriage... honestly... sunsets, horses, hiking... what more could you want??? Love it - we SHALL return

Dusty and very exposed camp sites. Toilets need buckets of lime to increase composting and reduce smell as they have in many other station camp sites.

What an amazing place. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. If it's offered and you get the chance I'd certainly recommend going on the 4WD tours organized by Helen and Brian they were brilliant. Such beauty, hope to go back again in the future and free camp.

It's a really special place. The hosts Heather and Brian are so friendly and the view over Port Augusta is worth a visit. You can go for a hike up to Mount Brown or you can just relax. Thanks for everything :)

Great place to get away. Very rough but perfect for off grid campers. Caravan is fine.

Well finally a get together for our club LRREG of SA, we planned the trip in advance.Heather and Brian are fantastic hosts, we all managed the weather forecast well, (hot,windy, and wonderful rain, of course a little cold). What a great place to revisit, as this time was too short to explore all on offer. Our members will be returning to enjoy this wonderful setting.
