A brilliant shop that has moved from Brisbane Arcade to the Bayside. What a delight to find Karen and her GORGEOUS range of menswear, leatherware, Hats and all things stylish.(And a sneaky hat for myself!)A MUST visit for the man in your life - with gifts galore at reasonable prices. I had been noticing Sonny Jim's for many months and wondering if it wasn't ahead of its time for Wynnum, a move to quality . Finally I went in needing some very specific , nice shoes and a jacket that I had failed to find even in Sydney and CBD Brisbane and Caringdale Westfield with all the hassle of crowds .Amazingly I found exactly what I needed at SJ and the service was outstanding . Its quality! But the prices are reasonable for that quality . The buyer's taste is excellent . And Karen will order in samples , goes the extra mile .Wynnum needs a place like this , even if you only go in once or twice a year, it is a total winner .John KWynnum

We have just had the most sensational shopping experience in Wynnum! Exciting new menswear store Sonny Jim is carrying high quality and interesting (mostly Australian brands) clothes, shoes, hats and accessories! Bought several gorgeous short and long sleeved men's shirts and my 17 year old a really great pair of shoes. Karen and her son Jesse (the two owners) gave friendly and fantastic service. We will definitely be returning to buy Christmas presents. Lots of pieces that you won't be seeing in other stores. I hope they do exceptionally well.

Warm and welcoming service - very helpful and I did not feel like I had walked into a trap, something I have experienced elsewhere. Sonny Jim is a surprise, its classy, and there are many fashion choices to make. It’s a bit like a slice of history, with a modern twist and very good quality products. If you are ever in Wynnum make a point of stopping here - its a great experience. I will be coming back for more!

Just walked past Sonny Jim. Like most males I hate shopping for clothes, so I was reluctant going in. Gained the courage to make the plunge, and I'm glad I did.The son and mum owner who helped me find some work chinos and a jumper were amazing to deal with.It's really hard to find convenient, decent quality and old school service these days. So thanks for making my shopping experience an enjoyable one.
