I feel the invoice was extremely pricey (over $800) for the little work they did in the vehicle, considering that they did not fix the main problem (oil leak). This is very frustrating, given that my vehicle was in the workshop for more than 10 hours, so they had plenty of time. However, they left the oil leak inspection and repair for the late afternoon (terrible time management). They degreased the vehicle, could not find the leak and asked to come back in a week to see if they could find the leak. Obviously, after being ripped off, I did not consider taking the vehicle again back to them. They also charged me $21.48 extra because I paid with Mastercard (EFTPOS).

In over 40 years of being on the road , my experience with this business has been my worst ever . I will never ever deal with them again .

This company is so professional and everyone tried their utmost best to help me out when my car broke down. Jorja, at the front desk, was the wonderful and helpful person who looked after me! If more businesses had people like Jorja, I’m sure their business would flourish! Also, her front desk colleague was also brilliant! I also watched how both of these girls dealt and worked with their customers and they both rate ten out of ten for their customer service! The mechanic who then spoke to me was superb too and understood that we were stuck and needed help pronto! He worked hard and tried everything possible to rectify our car problem. A courtesy car was presented to me on the second day as we had no transport during that day. Unfortunately, my car needed to go to the Karratha Isuzu dealership, as they had a special retrain computer there. In the end, I was not charged a cent for the second day work as the problem couldn’t be solved. In all, what a wonderful, well organised and happy company is Hunter Mechanical! Thank you, Paul

Hunter Mechanical was able to squeeze us in the next day, after we had clutch related issues with our ute. The inspection cost us $92, after which we got a quote for the repairs. The prices for the parts as well as some of the tasks seemed a little bit off, so we consulted with another mechanic and got it fixed at another place. The quoted parts didn't need to be replaced in the end.

Hunter are our go to mechanics when we visit karratha.On this occasion we needed someone to check on an oil leak we had discovered whilst driving to town.They had no problem slotting us in the day we arrived and on short notice, quickly assessed the problem and ordered necessary parts.They even picked up a small error on the bill and made sure to not charge additional hours that the mechanic ended up not needing..an honest mechanic!The girls out front are gems and so helpful and always welcome you with a friendly smile .Skye and Jordan you two rock.
