Ammata and Amber goes above and beyond for every client, whether it be a last minute session or if you have any questions outside of office hours. The clinic is well taken care of, and the essential oils diffuser used throughout smells absolutely divine & helps create a calming ambience. I could not recommend Focus Allied enough.

The team at Focus have been (better than) terrific! I sustained multiple debilitating injuries that left me barely able to move for months. Sally at Focus Physiotherapy is an excellent physio - she was able to diagnose a problem that had been recurring for years and help me make progress on improving my health. Over the last 18 months my pain has decreased and is rarely a concern. She is helpful, understanding and helps me adapt exercises to take with me when I travel.

All team members have the same high level of care for their patients. The psychologists are easy to talk to and ask all the the right questions to better understand your situation. The acupuncturist is very knowledgeable and can help patients throughout treatments even when the patient doesn't like needles. When you are in their clinic you get the sense that they are very passionate at what they do. I highly recommend this health clinic to others seeking their services.

Sally at Focus has helped me with two separate injuries, one of which I haven't been able to find answers to for years. She took her time to diagnose me and explain what the diagnosis meant, she gave me exercises and techniques that I could actually use and focussed completely on getting me active again. I was so impressed by her that I have subsequently recommended her to my mum and husband. Both of whom have had similarly positive experiences with Sally. If you are looking for a physio who has incredible attention to detail and who will put everything into getting you back to 100% then I would definitely recommend Sally.

I am a health systems researcher working through my PhD currently. This has given me a greater appreciation for how patient-centred the Focus Allied Health psychology services are, which is sadly rarer than it should be - particularly in mental health service provision. Working with Ammata, their psychologist, has literally saved my life and I highly recommend seeing her if you’re looking for a psychologist who practices authenticity and compassion above all else. She has top notch psychotherapy skills, abilities, experience, but most importantly, truckloads of wisdom, patience and compassion. Her versatility in approach covers being able to guide a client across a range of mental health experiences and through various stages of health, ill health, life stages and issues. I have personally benefitted from her authenticity, availability, accessibility and overall, her willingness to work with me rather than at me. As far as psychologists go, she’s quite likely amongst the best around, in Sydney.Further, if you are looking for someone who is sympathetic to the challenges that intersectional identity brings, look no further - culturally and linguistically diverse, female experience, neurodiversity, parenting, inter generational issues - she is able to hold space for the entire lot!
