As you can imagine how daunting it would be to dye your virgin hair for the first time. I trusted in JC hair artistry and they definitely came through. Gailene did all the work for my hair and Jayciee the owner helped to style after as well. They were patient and easy going people and had great customer service by even making me a bowl of noodles. Their prices are great for the quality you receive, cannot complain whatsoever!

Your average hair salon, staff are friendly. I have made bookings online and you have an option to select the person to do your hair (ie cut, colour, styling). They will openly change this without calling you to let you know or no follow up email. You don’t know of the change until day of your appointment when it’s too late. For someone who has had bad hair experiences in the past, I like to stick to one particular person as I know how they work and the results will be consistent. This happened 2/3 times when I booked online.Just note, you need to provide 48 hours if you need to reschedule or your deposit will be forfeited no matter what your reason is. I had a family emergency which meant I had to pack all my things the day before my appointment & be on the road for 3 hours to get to my family. I gave 24 hours notice but there was no empathy or understanding from JC - basically thats too bad and your $80 deposit will be forfeited. I wanted to explain my situation with details but the coldness of the conversation I knew there was no point. I do understand in a business perspective why however human touch/empathy is missing when the circumstances no longer suit them. Even if you feel sick or have Covid (which can happen the morning of your appointment) your deposit would likely be forfeited even though it’s outside of your control. Just a few things to take into account when you are making your booking.

JC was more than great! Amazing customer service and gave me every bit of information I needed to maintain my new color and she made sure I was comfortable. I came in very tired and offered me complimentary coffee and food to help ease me in, her service is spot on! She did an amazing job on my hair from black to blonde, I couldn’t have asked for a better result. I highly recommend this salon. 110% worth going to!

website was super easy to navigate! booked a haircut at 4am and was in the chair by 1pm (there were earlier slots but i wanted to sleep in). had to wait a bit which was fine and expected as that’s usually how bookings go. Had my hair blow dried by a nice lady that greeted me (did not catch her name) while i waited. Was later served by Jaycie who was very nice and friendly. she explained to me what i wanted would be difficult to do (fix up my hair after i had attempted to cut it myself) but she did amazingly at keeping the length and blending it out.my mistake about the prices! thank you for clarifying (:

I had my hair bleached to an Ash blonde early September and roots refreshed again today by Jaycie. Majority of my hair was virgin black hair and had previous box bleach with black dye on top remaining at the ends. It was also dry and I came in with absolutely no clue about hair care. However, Jaycie was very honest and professional during the consult, explaining my blonde options given the state of my hair and made sure my hair health was at upmost priority. She was very thorough on what products to use/not use for maintenance. She was also meticulous throughout the whole process and did such an amazing job. I’m very pleased with the results. The colour even faded out very well too!All in all, had a such a lovely experience at JC Hair Artistry. Friendly & knowledgeable staff. Comfortable environment. Excellent service. I’m glad that I’ve chose to go blonde here and will be coming back for future touch ups/hair changes. I highly recommend to anyone wanting a transformation!

Absolutely love my hair!! The process was fast and the staff are every friendly and helpful. It was my first time there and I got a free curling! Highly recommend

First visit today and it was amazing. Salon was clean. Kim was friendly and knowledgeable. She took much care with my hair colouring & cut, and it was a great experience overall - free tea and biscuit too! Will be back for all my hair needs!

I’ve been to so many stylists that I was a little leery about trying someone new. However, upon a referral, I made an appointment with Jacie and was NOT disappointed. To have someone actually listen to what I wanted in a cut and color was refreshing! Jacie was very honest with how she thought about my cut and color choices and I’m now a one very happy client and will keep coming back! Thank youuu xoxo

It was my first time at JC’s after wanting totry a different place. I’m out of area and when I first walked in the place is beautiful. Very luxurious.I booked a hair cut with Kim but gotsome one else, not sure why wasn’t told. I wasn’t too fussed as I don’t know any of the stylists.The girl I had (I’m so sorry I forgot your name) long brown hair, used to work in the eastern suburbs..you were soo lovely. Very knowledgeable and friendly. Happy with myCut :)The reason why I am giving 4 starsIs because I felt like she was “ forcing”me to buy heat protectant and leave in hair treatment. She had mentioned those products as I said I do have dry hair and it is my fault for not using heat protectant.When the haircut finished as she goes and gets the 2 products without asking if I was keen on purchasing. I felt soo awkward that I just bought one.I have nothing bad to say about her. Maybe other hairdressers are the same there? Maybe hairdressers there are being told from the manager/s to try and sell products?Overall, I would come back :)
