A truly beautiful place to relax in the mountains. Cozy and comfy with everything you could hope for. Carmel is a great host. Definitely recommended.

Fabulous place. Excellent location, easy walk into Emerald. Comfortable with excellent facilities. Private but the host is just next door, not that we had any issues. Highly recommend.

What a wonderful little gem to find in Emerald in the beautiful Dandenong Ranges. The apartment is unique in the way it is creatively and artistically decorated, super clean and very comfortable. Lovely gardens and forest walks on the doorstep. Good breaky provisions supplied, Netflix, fast wifi and the bed was sublimely comfortable. And Carmel welcomed us warmly and informatively and then left us to enjoy the space. Would love to visit again!

I recently stayed at ferny hill retreat. The amenities and breakfast was fine, the bathtub could not comfortably fit two people even though Carmel stated that you can.My main issue is Carmel encouraging us to open the drawers in the bedroom and lounge room and see what items can be found. Once Carmel left we did exactly that and were shocked to find tarot cards, reading runes, ouiji board and a dream dictionary in drawers in our bedroom. This made me and my partner incredibly uncomfortable especially since Carmel knew it was there and didn't mention what was in there. I texted Carmel the next day to let her know that I felt uncomfortable however I received no response. If ouiji boards and tarot cards are your thing, then I'm sure it'll be an oasis, however if not, consider finding other accommodation or even asking Carmel to remove those items. Honestly I won't be coming back to ferny hill retreat.
