Our little one has been having a great time at gym class. She can’t stop talking about it to anyone who will listen and spends every second practicing at home. She has tried other activity programs and this one has been the one she has enjoyed the most. We are hoping she decides to keep at it for as long as possible.

Brilliant gymnastics lessons. Always have a good number of staff who are really patient and helpful with students. The equipment is really good. The only issue is that there is not much parking.

Where do I begin. My daughter only attended three classes. At first we were sceptical as the space seemed very noisy and chaotic with a lot of the stations crossing over between children. Also very basic and what seemed like a controlled play centre than actual gymnastic classes. The staff and manager are all very young and seemed really overwhelmed and all over the place. The initial class was parent assisted (as instructed to join due to my daughters age - 3.5yrs) but this was too basic for her and so we moved to the next level class, commencing the following week.Week 2 and similar chaotic environment and lots of children and confusion as to who should be in what class. The instructors again seemed to bark instructions and be looking around whilst the children completed the activity. They seemed to be more focused on when to change over to the next area within the gym than really engage with the children and teach them the moves. Left feeling a little concerned and thought we would give it one more go, in fact my daughter even mentioned she didn't have fun.Lockdown happened and then we returned for our third class Sat 20th Feb. My daughter had been sick during the lockdown, a cold from a play centre literally the day before everything closed. She had a cough + runny nose, stayed at home and didn't attend childcare until the Weds 17th - al fine and no reports from childcare that she was unfit or unwell to attend. And they are EXTREMELY strict. So by the time Saturday the 20th rolled around for our class, we were all good. Class started off its usual chaos with children joining the wrong groups + getting confused. In fact my child did and so did another because the teachers yet again were all over the place. Finally the right classes started and they were off.About 25minutes into the 45min class my daughter had been running and jumping on the trampoline before she started to cough. She was sent to the sanitising station. Then she started to sniff. Then there were looks from the instructor to the assistant helping the class. 10mins left of class and my daughter was sitting (trampoline time was finished) and she coughed -into her elbow as taught before the instructor pulled the assistant aside and instructed her to go to reception where all the parents were sitting and speak to the young manager. When she came over I realised something was going on to do with my child and got up and asked. The young manager then told me my child was coughing and we had to leave. This was all in earshot of the parents. I then had to remove my child from her class in front of everyone and she kept going back to sit down. Eventually I managed to get her to come with me and told her we had to go home. I told the manager this was nonsense and embarrassing. No apology. I told her to cancel my membership, which she said she'd do and we left. My daughter cried in the car and kept asking why she had to leave. I was heartbroken and embarrassed.I called the centre and told the manager that the treatment was abhorrent and that the whole situation had upset me and my child. She still didn't apologise. I asked for a full refund to all classes as per BK's 30 day money back guarantee and was told no problem. Since then, no one from senior management has called me. They don't respond to emails. Ive had to call different centres and was told that management would call me yet no one has. I've had one email in response to mine post event where my membership was cancelled but nothing since. The owners + management team appear to not care and are only in the business of servicing happy, submissive customers. I would NEVER recommend them to anyone and would strongly avoid this business. Or at least be cautious as I have never dealt with such a rude team and sadly, they actually couldn't care less.

Signed up as there are no trial sessions offered. During our first lesson we could see this was not going to be something we would want to continue with. Appreciate people will have differing views and levels of acceptance but we found the instructors (young kids) uninspiring and unable to control the group. What's more disappointing is that when we advised that we would not be continuing, weekly charges were still transacted even after notifying the center that we had ceased attending.Eventually they stopped charging but now, 6 weeks after the lesson we are still awaiting our refund - which apparently is a common issue that the bayside manager has admitted given that refunds are processed only from the Bacchus Marsh site when they feel like it.Disappointing experience.

BK Gymnastics Bayside is terrific. The coaches are outstanding and my two daughters love their gym lessons - it is the highlight of their week. The customer service from management is exceptional. When my daughter was unable to attend gym for a couple of weeks, they suspended my daughter's account so that we were not charged. They are very understanding, supportive, helpful and friendly. I highly recommend BK Gymnastics Bayside.
