Ballarat Colonial Motor Inn
Have a decent size of room, warm swimming pool and friendly staff, vacuumed the carpet. However, the duvet has not been change or maybe never did, ours is filled with chocolate stain they should have change it before we checked in. I also notice that the next door person checked out already and they still didnt change the duvet. Dirty..

This place doesn't look like much, but it does the trick. An older style motel, the rooms are basic but very clean, with modern appliances- even a washing machine and dryer in my room. The heater and heated blankets are fantastic during winter, I slept so cosy on a very comfortable bed. No frills but a great motel to get some rest in. Owners are responsive and helpful, I'd definitely recommend this place

Great value. Our triple room was dated but clean, with spa bath, comfortable beds, all appliances working and including breakfast. Staff were good too. We didn't use pool or laundry.

Room was dirty, peeling paint, cracks in the walls, dirty marks on walls, no water pressure, bathroom door opens and hits the toilet. Thick dust on skirting boards, chairs, glasses. They had a cheek to charge $150 a night. Still charged my daughter $150, she couldn't come because her baby had gastro. Only stayed there because we couldn't get in any where else. Will never stay again.

The location was very convenient for the sites of Ballarat.We were very happy with the communication with the reception.The room was dated, but clean. You can tell they tried to make the space nice with the furniture and kitchen appliances.The pool was nice and warm. We enjoyed our stay.

Staff are super friendly. Room was clean and fresh. Very comfortable. Very peaceful. Only thing and I'm being picky and that's the pool. I love the room is locked but no safety in the pool. Other than that it was a nice stay. Plenty of options for dinner etc.Will definitely stay again. Loved the breakfast that comes with the room. It was simple but adequate

You get what you pay for, it is very cheap. The only major issue I had is the traffic noise, particularly at night time. It is located on a busy highway with non stop stream of loud trucks all night long. It is about a 15 minute drive from the main part of Ballarat. The pool is good, tennis court is good, beds comfy enough, no kitchenette, just basic microwave, toaster and kettle. Very outdated but clean. Helpful staff.

It was a lovely place to stay very close to all our destinations in Ballarat. Check in was super simple and the room was perfect for what we needed. The brakefast that came with the room was adverse however we didn’t do any research on what was included so all and all was good.

Ballarat Colonial Motor Inn
One positive thing to say about this motor Inn, It was cheap.Cleanliness was not very good, fly screens and windows were dusty tables were sticky and only some of the lights worked. The continental breakfast left little to be desired . The road noise was an issue. A very dank inhospitable place to stay. However the staff were very friendly and helpful.
