Hamilton Island is a great place for family holiday. The main pool area and surrounds are in very good condition. Can be a little price but still better than an overseas holiday.

It has a great swim up bar and really yummy mocktails I recommend mango madness. The pool is very cold!! They might need to work on a little heating.

Pool bar staff were very disrespectful and inconsiderate. Did not disclose to other swimmers that there was stool in the water and swimmers remained in the pool even though staff were aware. Seems as though they are more fixated on sales then they are on a bio hazard to tourists. Not to mention the bar smelling bad. Cocktails were overpriced.

As we remembered from our last visit some years ago , weather was great and lots of family’s have taken the opportunity to visit Hamilton island. No restriction all restaurant’s and bars are open for business, it was easy to redeem Queensland travel dollars for the ferry ride.

Big pool overlooking the beach. Nice pool bar and live music. A must visit while on Hamilton island.

This is by far the largest pool on the island and also the busiest.There’s a shallow area for the little ones and then the pool wraps around in an odd shaped circular ring that goes deeper. There’s two bridges across to the centre where the Main Bar is located.While there are sun lounging chairs and beach umbrellas to use, there’s never enough. So be prepared to be sun smart yourself.

I probably would not call myself a regular at resort pools, but in this case it was a good call. A very nice place to sit, with a cool drink, listen to the live music and just enjoy the tropical island resort vibe. Plenty of options in or around the pool, tables and seats, lounge chairs or just sit on the edge.
