Sunshine takeaway

Food looks amazing but tastes awful. Sweet and sour pork is just bits of dry pork in hard batter that has no sourness to it, just red sauce. Honey chicken is the same, hard batter and dry chicken. The best worst dish tho is the deep fried chicken thigh that has had half the meat cut off it and cooked in a thick batter so it looks like it is is a nice plump piece of chicken. The steamed vegetables are days old brocolli and carrot that are rubbery with a brown tinge. Hoped the food in the place would improve but while it looks amazing, it just ain't.

I would like to say I bought for the first time ever from SUNSHINE TAKEAWAY, I paid $12 for Gastly, tough small pieces of meat with lots of batter, It was cold as, I had one bite and tossed. I can not believe they are still in your centre, if they sell uneatable food like that. Save your stomach and buy elsewhere. Sweet and Sour Pork or the Honey Chicken, deserve to have eatable good size meat, not touch little uneatable pieces

Lady tonight refused to give me her name, which is fair enough when her service was horrendous. If I could give zero stars I would but what I just experienced needs to be made public.Fried rice, honey chicken and sweet and sour pork were all sitting there on the bench, in trays, not separated into containers. I asked if I could have the 3 in a new container behind her and she told me very rudely that she couldn't do that. I pointed out that they were all there and she said no, I need to pick from the pre-made containers. But I didn't want what had been pre-packed, can you please do me a new container with what I want in it? She literally refused and stood there smiling at me then told me not to come back and to come earlier next time. I told her I'd been working till 5pm!! She was unnecessarily rude anddifficult. I was willing to pay full price, I just wanted 3 of my own choices, not what was already pre packaged. Please note that they're open until 9pm and putting food into containers at 5.15pm. Why?I've been coming here with my family for years and I've never seen her nor been treated so poorly. Check my review history, I always promote positive feedback but this lady rudeness really needed to be pointed out. Be kind and treat people with respect. I never once raised my voice, swore or talked over her but she just wouldn't listen.Sorry if you've had a bad day. I hope you do better and noone else has to deal with this service from you again.

The staff here are lovely and welcoming! They're quick to learn your face so coming back and being greeted as a friend is always a plus. Prices are fair and food is great, though I am bias to say their honey chicken is the best (it's a favourite of mine.)

i’ve came to this place a couple of times as i love Chinese, but depending on the cooks sometimes the food is decent then other times it’s inedible. I just now found two black hair in my noodles and had to toss it all, not happy.

Love the food here! Very well presented and tastes amazing. I’ve been to many Chinese takeaways and this one has been the best soo far. Best thing is when they load the food into the container, you’ll be surprised when you see them press the lid down. Price is fair as other places already jacked up to $13-$16 for a large while sunshine takeaway is still on $12.50. Staff’s are very friendly and always has a smile on their faces. Overall very satisfied, would recommend trying first before believing the negative reviews.

very nice chicken wings and boneless chicken. they do special priced boxes later in the day ($6 for box of honey chicken and fried rice).

Honey chicken and fried rice meal. Staff were friendly, lots of options to choose from and everything looked good. Honey chicken was really good but I think the fried rice could have had more ingredients added to make it taste better. This meal plus 3 spring rolls was $11.

Foods good and fresh. Crumbed chicken could do with more flavour/seasoning.
