BEST CHIPS IN BRISBANE! I really hope they don’t put their prices up because they are the only affordable place in the area. The portions are perfect and the food is soooo satisfying every time. Best chip/burger shop ever.

Bacon and egg roll and chips were one of the best I've had. Great take away , definitely recommend coming here.

Honestly the best I’ve ever had. Proper old school fish and chips. Great bloke running it as well. As genuine as they come.

Delicious burger and the service was prompt and courteous. Good price. I’ll have to get the other options on the menu, I’m sure it will be worth it.

This is not a review, but a love letter. I've tried a few of their offerings throughout the years. Their burgers are generously filled and so are their sandwiches. Local Kedron students, all veterans of the Clayfield/Wooloowin/Eagle Junction takeaway shops, claim their chips reign supreme.The star of this shop, however, is their banh mi. I cannot emphasize enough how wonderful it is to have access to such flavoursome, well-priced and fresh banh mi without crossing the river to Southside!I've only tried two so far: The grilled pork particularly showcases the super intricate layering of sweet and salty flavours against the crunch of the baguette and the slightly fattiness of the meat. Hard to describe, but it was simultaneously melt in your mouth while still retaining a slight bite, a soft chewyness. This is the one to get. Seriously close to heaven on earth. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐The beef was slightly hard to chew and required a lot of jaw work and pulling apart. It was quite hard to get a balanced bite, as the texture of the meat against the other fillings weren't really as complementary. Pass, go for the pork.EJ takeaway is near perfect if not for the inconsistency of the banh mi fillings (sorry to those who dont eat pork). I do wish they were more generous with their pate as I am used to Sydney banh mi joints (like Marrickville, an institution in itself) and have found that they use way more pate interstate.Thank you so much for being a beacon of carby hope in this side of Brisbane. Have been here numerous times. The gentleman who runs the shop has always been quick & has good communication. Wait times generally short, have been there a few times whilst waiting for a train & made it on time every time.

Love how old the oil gets!!! Love how much oil you consume!! Love Love that a medium chips is barley a hand full!!! Love Love over salted oily cold chips absolutely the best what a joke

My partner and I visited today and the food was lovely. Bahn mi was great and fish chips were delicious and a perfect size. We really enjoyed our meal and will be back soon for sure!

Inexpensive and affordable takeaway. Fresh tasty ingredients. Impeccable service; the young chap on the fronter counter had a high standard of service and attentiveness while farewelling me with my food.Will definitely be back!
