Buckley Nature Conservation Reserve
A beautiful reserve to walk in beneath the Silver Leaved Stringybarks. Many little gems to discover along the path; orchids, lilies, xanthoreas etc. Nicely kept. The girls from Victorian Ecosystem Services local contractors have done a great job. Thank you

Nice bushland for a wander. Not very well managed however. Many invasive species rampant and phytophthora affected. Still has fair diversity of flora, fauna and fungi.

Shortish walk end to end. But disappointed. Paths leading to seasonal very narrow creek looking more like a drain, but very lush bushland, lots of birds, old trees.Do watch out for snakes, early spring there was half a baby snake on a track.Easy parking, but as it's quite near a road, the walk peace was interrupted by traffic noise often.

Buckley Nature Conservation Reserve
Perhaps I picked the wrong time of year to explore this (it was Spring), but I wouldn't recommend it. Overgrown, almost a swamp along much of the supposed trail, quite a bit of garbage dumped in it, and not a great deal of interest. There are much lovelier parks in this area (not to mention the foreshore itself) if you're looking for somewhere to walk.
