Mantra Ettalong Beach

Great place. Not too sure about a bunch of the reviews here. Some were inaccurate. Yes you gotta make your own bed and maintain your room but service staff promptly bring you anything you may need. Very good place for the family. The pool is fantastic.

The staff here are wonderful, I had lost a necklace and after a few days staff had called and mailed it to me. Very honest and very helpful. Great family stay only recommendations i would make are more and better options for room service, dining hall for breakfast and also a heated pool option for the kids especially on a cooler day.

Have stayed here many times with wife. It’s a great getaway close to Sydney and reasonably priced. Have stayed both garden view and water view side and water view is worth paying extra, as is the one bedroom better than studio. Great pool for kids but on flip side can get quite noisy in school holidays especially on the lower levels.Lots of good local restaurants, room comes with kitchenette (includes stove but no oven) and local IGA is only 3 min walk.

Ettalong is great for a nice quiet trip away, and the Mantra is perfectly suited to it.It's not glamorous, but it does have a great (if cold) pool. On the whole it's nice and I'd definitely go back again.

The bistro is spacious. The food is good. The staff are very friendly. Located across the road from the beach. There’s a large customer carpark next to the club. Plenty of on-street parking. The bus stop is located about a block away from the club - and it provides a quick trip to Woy Woy and Umina. The club has an excellent environment. Big screen TVs are dotted throughout the facility.

I booked through the hotel website a studio hill and town view room for my sister 19th wedding anniversary treat. In the website they offer free membership option which will give discount and great deal options. I called to confirm everything before the day of arrival and spoke to a wonderful receptionist and after had a conversation with her she has upgraded the room to studio with Ocean and pool view. I was really happy and glad. It was the very first time ever got this sort of surprise. And also on the arrival day they event left a personal touch by leaving a anniversary wishing note with a chocolate. It was really lovely and my sister and her hubby felt very welcomed. Overall I was really pleased and happy that it went through exactly I planned for them. They had a wonderful time.

Staying here with the women of my family to celebrate my MIL’s 90th. The weather is great, the rooms and the views are amazing. Having the club downstairs is brilliant. Staying here is also fantastic as we can walk to the local cafes and boutiques. All in all we are going to book another two rooms for this time next year.

Great location, nice pool, pub and restaurants around in walking distance. Staff is very friendly. Fairly clean. Bathroom has a jacuzzi that was a bonus. Quality linen, handy kitchenette with supplies, quality toiletries in bathroom and nice balcony were all very nice.Not so great was the bed. Double bed felt even smaller for two grown ups. TV was really old and did not connect to anything. Our room had small cockroaches (it was a deal breaker for us).Mantra needs to upgrade the in room furniture, specially the beds. Also do something about German cockroaches.

Great location, rooms require a great make over. Spa / shower thing of the past step to high to get in. Room was dirty stains on lounge, some furniture was disgusting dirty coffee table/ bed side. For the top dollar you pay $400 a night, I would of been better getting a cabin in a caravan park more for the kids to do.In the pool too many balls been thrown around, I was worried my 9yr old son with disabilities was going to get hit.( no staff patrolling pool area).Like I said great location, reception staff very professional,
