Liked the relaxed atmosphere with the ski and snowboard guys around. Due to Covid lockdown in Sydney, Newcastle and other big cities (08/2021) probably less tourists than usual, very quiet and no après ski, happy hour or specials.$11 for a glass of bottled beer is too pricy, I feel.

Anything could be considered relaxing after a great day skiing but this place has the cocktails, the fireplace and the music.

nice bar but horrible service from the Karen manager who questioned what we ate before we entered and refused to serve us drinks after knowing we were going to be there for 20 mins. In her words exactly “don’t bother getting drinks if you’re only going to be here for 20 mins”.

Hotel prices but a cozy area to just chill with friends. If it's nice outside, enjoy the patio space.
