Equidae Botanicals

This is the first time I’ve tried any of equidae’s products.My two riding school ponies are on the Zen powder and all I can say is wow ! Saw a difference in their behaviour within 8 days. Cost effective and super easy to use. I will defiantly be purchasing again. I also tried the Zen paste for one of them when he was a bit excited and it seemed to calm the nerves but didn’t seem zoned out.Really happy all round and will be trying some other products now I’ve seen the results.

Cannot recommend their products enough. Specifically, the Soothing and Calm Shampoo collection is absolutely beautiful and works brilliantly on sensitive coats. Unlike other shampoos you will find, this product contains no harsh detergents or chemicals- and it smells wonderful. I also use the Protect and Relief paddock spray DAILY and it is by far one of the most effective bug repellents I have ever used on any of my horses. It also smells amazing, and it repels even the nastiest of bugs (bot flies stand no chance!). Highly recommend, and products always come beautifully packaged.

The products I received from Equidae Botanical Horse Care were the Shine & Focussed Shampoo and the Soothing & Calm Conditioner. I was amazed how beautiful they smelled, and when I used them they produced an incredible show shine. These products are not only awesome because they are all natural, the service I received from this company was second to none. Love them!

The Equidae Botanical range is absolutely amazing. I use the 3 in 1, paddock spray and the shine and focused shampoo. Not only do these 3 products work amazingly they smell so good too that I have used the shampoo on my own hair.Gemma

I'm surprised to read reviews saying the Paddock Spray, repels flies, as I have found this product to be completely ineffective. All the reviews on the Paddock Spray, that I've read here, were exactly 3 years ago. I wonder why there has been no reviews of this product since? Have they changed their formula possibly?I purchased the Paddock Spray, and loved the smell, but found it didn't keep the flies away. I tried spraying heaps on; I tried the method of spreading it over my horse’s hair with a cloth; but the flies continued to crawl around on my horse, and bite her! Is there some secret that I'm missing?? Does it not work against Victoria's flies??After trying and trying to get a result (and I really did want it to work, as I loved the smell, and I don't like chemical sprays), the trigger started to malfunction, and now I can't get the trigger to expel any product at all.I contacted the company, saying, the product didn't repel the flies, and now that the trigger has stopped working, could I get a refund. I was denied a refund on the basis of ...their return policy is:• Return within 30 days• Product unopened and unused!I asked “How can I know if the product works, unless I open it and use it?” I did not get an answer, just an apology. So I checked with Consumer Affairs. They told me these policy terms do not comply with Australian regulations.Equidae also lied about the time frame in which I'd purchased the product! They also kept insisting that I must have dropped the bottle, and broken the trigger. But I kept telling them, I have never dropped it, nor is it broken! It just over the last few times, intermittently stopped expelling the product, then stopped completely.

For the last month, I have been using Equidae skin care products on my horse and the results have been awesome. My horse''s mane and tail has gone from being dry and brittle to soft, silky & shiny. His urge to scratch has dramatically reduced and his mane and tail has never looked better. Fantastic products :)

Equidae's products have helped my horse so much and they all smell amazing. I have tried the Soothing and Calm Shampoo, the Aloe Vera Spray and the Aloe Vera Gel. The Aloe Vera gel and spray have helped so much to stop my horse from itching himself on fences constantly, pulling his hair out in the process especially in his tail. I love that they have the gel form of it as well because around my horse's face he doesn't like sprays. The shampoo was also amazing, leaving him shiny and smelling great. I would 100% recommend Equidae to any horse owners out there.

I’ve been using the Calm shampoo and conditioner on my horses to help with skin allergies and itch. Extremely happy with our progress and how good the horses look! Highly recommend this fantastic brand to anyone looking for natural remedies that actually work.

Equidae is my favourite horse care brand! when I first got my horse her coat was dry and dull, after using the soothing and calm shampoo and conditioner for the past few months she is glowing! Also when moving her to a new agistment she broke out in hives as she was irritated from the grass so I gave her a bath using Equidae and she was relaxed and soothed by the time I was done! I found that some shampoos and conditioners smell like chemicals but the Equidae products smell fresh and natural! I highly recommend buying these amazing products!
