Very disappointed with the expensive food. The old bistro was a lot more affordable. When people go to hospital, they're not thinking to spend every cent on the ridiculous prices. It is actually called 'price gouging'. I think you need to look at all of the other comments making the same complaints. Menu pricing overhaul is required.

Overpriced for the quality of the food/coffee. The lady at the counter charged me $27 for a coffee, croissant and a sandwich. I calculated the prices of the items and the total bill should have been $21.5. When I asked why was I charged $27, she said its due to card charges. I asked for a receipt and found out I WAS CHARGED TWICE for the coffee. I get it might have been an honest mistake, but no apologies or sorry, just showing attitude for no reason.

Way too expensive. Surcharge on cash or card, also ridiculous. $16 for a Greek salad although fresh was mostly lettuce

When I visit a patient at Westmead Hospital I always have either Breakfast or a freshly made sandwichI find the staff and food presentation excellent in all ways

Sandwiches were 3 to 4 days old, and when I told the guy behind the counter what I have he charged me wrong. AND When I told him, he looked at me in disbelief. Not only that, they charged $2.80 handling fee... handling what? I got my own water and my own 4-day old sandwich! What did you handle that cost $2.80?Hospitals are now more expensive than the airport.

I am seriously impressed with the consistent quality of coffee, the variety in food and availability of confectionery items! One of the best cafes I have been to within a hospital especially!
