I had booked my 40th here in March for Lunch. I paid $1100 for 25 adults and 10 kids to eat and also $200 for the hire of The Barn. Very confusing to where we were sitting or where the area for my party was booked. They didnt even put tables together so we could all sit together. They had other patrons sitting in our area that they were serving meals too they should have asked them to move as it was a private function but they didnt. The party started at 11:30 but my guests didn't even get to eat until 1/1:30. The food was ok not worth the money I was paying for. They put no effect in to make my day special and the people came across a little frustrated and rude when I started asking questions to where my food was. Also no receipts were emailed or given for the party aswell. Feeling very ripped off and i will never book a party here again.

Went to the Barn and Scotty’s Garage for a look around. It was great and the breakfast at the Barn was Marvellous. I’ll definitely be coming back. The staff were super friendly which made the visit better.

The Barn and Scotty's Garage
Today my friends and I decided to have lunch at this cafe and we cannot hide our deep disappointment. Previously, this place was always full of visitors on weekends, but today there are only 2-3 occupied tables at the most. Later it became clear why. Firstly, we booked a table over the phone, but upon arrival found that the workers had not bothered to reserve a table for us as we wanted, and the woman taking the order looked at us with strange surprise. In general, she was quite rude and did not hide her displeasure at the fact that she had to strain to explain to us what they have on the menu. Secondly, prices jumped up significantly, but we hoped that the quality of food remained at the same level. Nothing like this! Instead of the ordered steak, they brought a small piece of poor quality beef, which was impossible to chew, as if chewing rubber. Salad - if you please, a tiny portion! Raised prices and reduced portions! And thirdly, earlier, to get into the museum, it was enough to drop a gold coin, but greed is here in all its glory - 10 dollars! And you hope after that to maintain the former status of a respectable institution?! We used to advise friends and relatives to definitely spend time in this wonderful place. But now, let alone advise, we ourselves have no desire to return here! The only thing that we felt today was disrespect for us as visitors, an unpleasant aftertaste and, forgive me, hunger.

What an awesome place. Scotty was there & wow he has so much knowledge about everything there. Such great childhood memories to look back on & even before. The Diner was amazing, could just sit in there for hours. Fantastic staff.

Wow!!! Absolutely worth the drive in!!! SO much to see!! Lunch in the barn was delicious!! Staff were friendly and super accommodating!! We then went over to the Garage - met Scotty (what a treat!) and again SO much to look at!! I'll absolutely be back!!!

A gem of a place created by people with true passion. Passion of vintage cars, passion of beautiful surroundings and passion for tasty and hearty food. The service was exceptional, I felt like I was a friend invited to their place.And the quince jam is simply beyond.

Loved it! Great collection of all types of memorabilia from the kitchen to the old thunder box. Scotty's Garage is the icing on the top. Need to pay for that but well worth it. Super collection of everything relating to motor vehicles.

The Barn and Scotty's Garage
My wife and I visited after this was recommended to us, and it didn't disappoint. It has a very authentic Australian theme with lots of memorabilia and signs. I had the steak sandwich, and my wife had the savoury spud. They were both delicious and very filling. The total for lunch and drinks was about $50.The owners are very helpful and accommodating. They have a few very friendly dogs that roam around, but they didn't bother us.Overall, I would highly recommend the drive to visit but check the opening hours before you leave.
