I would like to praise Dear the trainee assistant who today was very patient and understanding in solving an issue I experienced sending money to China. Her friendly manner and attention to detail gave me great comfort in my experience at HSBC Barangaroo Branch

My wife misplaced her wallet, instead of placing a TEMPORARY HOLD on her card, as requested, they CANCEL it & issue a new one, only it's a DUD, so now she has to wait AGAIN for yet ANOTHER card.... let's hope this one actually works.Also, it's been about TWO YEARS since the NPP / osko payments platform was released & you're STILL not onboard. Talk about being hideously SLOW to keep up with innovation. I'm glad I ditched you as a bank.

Try to call their 1300 n not sure how they have this stupid policy where you have to call back when answering 1 questions? Why cant you just have a policy asking 100 questions before you ask people to call back???As you know calling you guys are not the easiest??? The wait, just a nightmare… im at the moment waiting, changed my clothes, brushed my teeth, had my coffee and of course still waiting!!!!At the moment is 30min wait?! You think we have all day?And the issue is, i need to block my card because potential scammer. Dont you think this matter is serious and you need to have more people dealing w these and locally not from overseas????Still waiting…

Tried calling twice, 4 hours and 3 hours, no one ever picks up!Absolutely ridiculous and disgusting for a “global” bank.

Extremely unhappy with the incompetence shown by this bank when trying refinance a home loan from another bank. The duration of processing and errors that are still ongoing from such a large financial institution is simply appalling and they should be embarrassed. I would discourage anyone from using this bank for even their kids savings account!

funds are sitting in the bank account, but are not available (they have been there for weeks previously, it is not a new deposit). No One at HSBC can explain why the funds are not available. IT IS JUST PATHETIC

Horrible experience despite had little expectation to start withSent in an application during Easter Weekend to open a bank account, received a SMS advising me to call back because of unable reaching me (with no missed call on my phone)Called back as per instruction, someone in sales team said it is a service team matter, then sent me to service team (on hold for more than 20 minutes) service team advised me to speak to sales team despite I explained the reason for the transfer. Another how many minutes of wait someone picked up the phone and had another person to speak with me and said I failed the verification questions. I managed to speak to 3 other people during the same phone call and passed the verification! What an afford to (try to) open an account! not even been treated it fairly due to your internal teams pushing workWould recommend everyone to stay away from this bank given my own experience.
