Started out great. I had met with several lawyers as I felt my matter had certain specifics that required a particular approach. Their Head of Practice gave me several assurances that they would be best served to handle my matter based on the specifics I detailed and the potential longevity. These assurances gave me the confidence to engage them. Things deteriorated once I had signed their engagement documents and transferred money. The first breakdown seemed to stem from either being overworked and forgetting some of the specifics I had detailed initially. On enquiring about seeking a protection order, my lawyer scoffed and replied a man wouldn't get a FVRO." When I reminded her of our initial conversation and her assurances she proceed to lecture me and justify her actions at her $600phr rate. The second breakdown occurred shortly after when trying to arrange access to my son for his first birthday. She gave assurances she would attempt to negotiate with the other party and would get back to me by the end of the day. I recieved no return phone call and only spoke to her when she answered my call two days later. The following business day
