Durack Childcare Centre | Journey Early Learning

Our family were very happy with the care our daughter received at Journey. The educators are all lovely and our daughter built great relationships with many of the educators. Journey provides a beautiful environment, lovely staff and a wonderful learning environment for the children. Our daughter grew so much in her time at Journey and it was wonderful to see her building relationships with the educators and other children, she grew so much in her confidence and in her social skills. It was lovely to know she was being cared for when I could not be with her.

My grandson sadly left Journey Early Learning Centre last week.He's been there since he was 5 months old and he is now 2.Thanks to you all for guiding him through every day. The effort you all put in is reflected through him.Such a lovely, friendly, welcoming and modern centre where the educators truly have their hearts in their roles.I truly believe that they are such amazing people and so important in the early years of our children's lives.Keep giving the outstanding care, guidance and support to all the children that you connect with.

We have been using Journey Early Learning Durack for several years now and they have been absolutely amazing. Management is professional yet friendly and approachable, helping us with flexibility where possible. The staff in the rooms are great, offering plenty of activities and taking an active role in each child's personal development. We have stayed with this child care centre despite moving rural because of how happy we are with the team and facilities.

Absolutely loved our time at Durack Journey. I've never felt more comfortable leaving my daughter at child care than I did at Journey. The girls immediately made us all feel welcome and genuinely had her best interests at heart! She thrived in the environment and her development sky rocketed. Food and menu choices were always spot on and excursions added extra room for experiences. Can not recommend this place enough!!!

We have been at Journey Early Learning Centre for several months after changing from another Centre and it has been the best decision our family has made.We receive a warm welcome to the centre each and every day from staff and are always approached in the afternoon for a brief chat about our children's day. The staff are professional and helpful and put so much effort into program planning (NAIDOC week, Pirate Day, Book Week, excursions, auslan, cooking, nutrition, fitness, Halloween, fathers/mothers day etc.) and forward and proactive organisation. We receive regular and individual Story Park entries that are well written and linked to EYLF learning outcomes. The centre is beautifully maintained and have just renovated their outdoor play areas. All staff members photos are visible with their qualifications listed and the menu is amazing and based on the Wholesome Child menu.The centre is a little bit more expensive then our last one however we can see where our money is going (quality staff, quality resources, focus on safety, well maintained learning spaces and great service).On a personal level I'm so greatful for the commitment the staff have had to my childrens development, particularly my son who has made incredible progress since been at Journey.

My daughter first week at Journey has been really good. The educators are very welcoming. They keep me posted daily with photos of my daughter learning new skills and also her real-time routine.

Our daughter Isabelle has been attending Journey since February 2019 and absolutely loves it. It only took a few weeks for her to settle in and feel comfortable in her home away from home. Her educators are fantastic and you can tell that they genuinely care for the kids in their room. We feel comfortable leaving our daughter there knowing she is well cared for and learning loads. The educators allow the babies to explore their environments and get messy, which we love. The centre manager is friendly, approachable and was very helpful with our many questions when we started the search for a centre. Choosing child care is a hard decision for any parent to make - we're glad we chose Journey - Alicia and Chris.

Highly highly recommend Journey Early Learning Center in Durack!! Such an amazing centre! From the incredible management team Jo and Emily they are super approachable and always go above and beyond. To the gorgeous group of educators! We have had such a wonderful experience sending our girl here since she was 4 months old, she loves being able to explore and get messy while learning. If you're looking for a childcare that will love your child like family while teaching them to learn and grow into amazing little people look no further. The indoor/outdoor area's are perfect for little ones and the whole food menu is fantastic.

Since moving my son to Journey, the drop off process has been such a breeze, the educators are so lovely and post regular updates on how my son's day is going. No two days are the same as they incorporate so many different activities to their weeks, such as sign language, visits from clowns and musicians, walks to the park for morning tea. The staff are always very friendly and accommodating and i am so very glad that i made the decision to move my son to Journey.

Journey at Durack is the most family orientated centre I have ever been to. My grandson attends in the Nursery room and he loves it. He has come ahead in leaps and bounds under the guidance of the Nursery team, they are loving and always have the childrens happiness and well being at the centre of all they do, I could not recommend them enough. The staff genuinely care and take pride in their roles, it is evident that their positions are their passion and vocation, not just a job".
