If I could give it no stars, I honestly would. The food here is disgusting, I ordered a main spaghetti bolognese and a chicken Parma with salad. What on earth happened to it? Shredded ham on a Parma? Since when? Im actually appalled, how could you charge someone nearly 60 dollars for 2 meals that taste and even worse look like absolute garbage. Sad to say I didn’t get my money back, but never again.Also not to mention my Parma wasn’t cooked through and the shredded ham and cheese had a weird stench. Please don’t order from la porchetta pakenham, Geelong can do better than this and that’s embarrassing.To the left is what a real Parma and salad looks like from the exact same business but located in Geelong and to the right is what I received in pakenham.Judge for yourself.

i used to work here back from june 2021 - march 2022 and all i can say is it was absolutely disgusting. i was 15 at the time i was working, when i turned 16 in november, i didn’t get a pay rise, i asked my manager when i would and she told me that in australia you don’t get a pay rise until you’re 18. i knew this was false due to me also having another job at the time. i was provided with little training at the beginning and basically had to train myself on what to do. i can assure you that every other waitress would have the same problem. majority of my shifts would only be 2 hours long and i would never have a break. the management behind this company is disgusting. i ended up getting fired because i didn’t show up to ONE of my shifts, reasoning being because i was in hospital. i felt extremely unwanted and cared for. i was never given payslips, as they would only be given out on sundays on paper. i remember back in february 2021 my pay was 3 weeks overdue because the accountant went on a holiday to india. extremely unprofessional. i would not suggest anyone to work here ever. i don’t know how they are still in business. disgusting.

It was freezing cold. Food not bad but waited a least 40 minutes for a chocolate mousse. When asked where it was, staff reply was we are under staffed. We are needing to get to a show. She wasnt interested that. Staff weren't interested in clearing tables either. Walking back to kitchen empty handed.

In the last few years this restaurant had lifted their game somewhat (in the quality of food dept) but it was still owned by the same people who consistantly under paid their floor wait staff, hence a high and regular change of floor wait staff and manager's. My own daughter quit over poor wages. The restaurant has closed as of early 2023 and some might say hopefully for good after receiving poor reviews for many years. The food had greatly improved in the last few years so I personally had no complaint there. Maybe a NEW franchisee will take over the old place and do right by all. Let's hope so.

Lovely service, and the atmosphere is amazing - with beautiful not too bright lighting and not too loud music it's a very relaxing place to eat at.The food was quite nice, the only reason I don't give a 5 star rating is that the meat platter really needed a sauce of some sort, it was a bit dry. (the chips had tomato sauce, but the meat had nothing) My favourite part of the meal was the chips - they were absolutely amazing! Definitely coming back for more!I highly recommend visiting here.

Awesome!! Food was brought out quickly and waitresses were bright and friendly. Had a chicken schnitzel and was very impressed by the portion sizes and selection of sauces and sides. Pizza was very tasty too! Restaurant was clean and waitstaff were very helpful. Recommend!!

food was slow, overpriced, and disgusting.came here for lunch with friends to celebrate our graduation, the place was empty, and it still took a half hour to get our order taken.when the food came, two of our meals were wrong, and the food was undercooked.the wine is cheap but sold like it's expensive and tastes watered down.most of us ended up getting sick afterward, except for our friend that only had a salad.we will not be coming back.

DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY.Worst restaurant in Pakenham. Ordered a proscuitto pizza and chocolate cake on uber eats and was extremely disappointed. Didn't know it was possible to ruin a pizza / dessert this bad. Pizza was supposed to come with proscuitto, rocket, tomato sauce, mozzarella, shaved parmesan and balsamic glaze. Out of all these it came with only tomato sauce (and the extras)... Ordered no mozzarella with extra capers, garlic, pesto, spinach, chilli and salt. The garlic and pesto was poorly put on the pizza in clumps so when you took a bite you got a burning mouthful of garlic. Yum. How can you call that a proscuitto pizza when they didn't even put any on it... The chefs of this place should not be allowed anywhere near a kitchen!!As for the cake, it came frozen and I had to heat it up in the microwave. Nothing like the picture whatsoever. Pictured with lots of chocolate sauce however once heated it had mostly dried up and the cake was dry as anything.Ordered pastas from here before, tasted watered down and extremely tasteless. Ordered proscuitto in one pasta and it came with ham instead. It's insulting to pay so much for it and give me something else as if I wouldn't be able to tell the difference.Avoid this place completely or prepare to be seriously disappointed...

We love this humble little place. Decor is simple but clean and comfortable. The atmosphere is nice and quiet, easy to hear conversation over dinner. The wait staff are always so friendly and efficient. Food is really delicious..great pizza and pasta!

Good food, big potions, okay prices, friendly staff overall underwhelming.I went here on a late Sunday with my partner, hardly anyone else there maybe 3 other families. The staff were friendly but had to wait for their service sometimes and had 3 different waitresses, some seemed quite new and unsure. The pizza was great, a good size and price, the chicken parma wasn't great, the edges were burnt, the breadcrumb didnt taste of much and the portion was way too big for one person. The carbonara was enjoyable but had to wait for it to cool down. The waitress didn't know what flavoured deserts there were (there was 2) so she asked us to come to the display to have a look ourselves which seemed unnecessary.Overall it wasn't bad but it wasn't great and I personally wouldn't go there again.
