Went for a feed after some mountain biking. Food hit the spot well. Some of the food took significantly longer than the rest but we did have a pretty large group and it was a thursday lunch so it was to be expected

What a wonderful old ‘pub’Steeped in history, much of connecting Rockingham and the days of timber exports in the late 1800’s.Menu is basic - food is reasonable. The staff were simply wonderful and the gentleman who served us outside could not have done enough and was extremely polite.I was able to order grilled fish (over battered) and was very tasty.Worth a visit - must go back in winter with all the fires on!

We have been here for two hours and have been waiting for food for over an hour. Every time I come here I end up waiting 50 mins+ just for food. This time we’ve ordered ribs and a burger and there’s not reason for it to take this long. I wanted the parmi but they were sold out and there’s no other chicken options. The prices are unreasonable with nothing under 30$ and they milk the fact that there’s no other alternative in this area. So disappointing and not worth the drive. The music is outdated and headache inducing. The mosquitoes and flies are out of control and was an overall unpleasant visit. The table we sat at was sticky and dirty and has not been wiped down for days as there’s an obvious build up of food. there was also flies in the salt shaker

Had lunch here on a school holiday lunchtime. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Food came out super quick and was very fresh. The kids enjoyed the cheeseburger and chips. My chicken ceaser was large and very tasty. Lots of chicken, bacon and egg.Kids meals were fairly priced, the other meals were a little more than I would expect to pay, but could just be inflation and coming back from COVID. Drinks I thought were cheap tho so it balanced out.The beer garden/terrace was lovely and shaded and quite nice on a summer lunch. There was a nice kids area for the little ones.We will be back when out that way next time.

Place was busy with a great atmosphere. Burgers and fish and chips were very good. Tavern had a kids play area that parents can overlook while eating and drinking. Some of the staff were amazing. Highly recommend

Went yesterday. Sunday. Not sure was has happened to the menu, the menu was basic, budget. Going back a few years ago it was awesome. Paying $40 for sirloin steak to taste like charcoal, we added pepper sauce to both our dishes, thinking it would come in a jug, no, very little on the plate as the waitress must of spilt it on the way. The toilets were disgusting. Won't go back unless the menu is improved.

Absolutely gorgeous venue, most of the staff were lovely. Food was very average. Drinks were good.Good for motorbike riders, families with all ages children and friends. Basically caters to everyone and feels like an old good country town pub.

We finished a hike and were pretty hungry after. This place looked neat and local, and it is! But it had a really long wait time for food. We waited 1.5 hours for 2 people, not a chance I'd come back guys and the food was average at best
