Today I brought 2 vanilla slice cakes for afternoon tea. I have never in my 56 years spat out a vanilla slice . That had a strange taste like Raw meat. No Vanilla taste or custard taste. Even the icing on top had no sweet taste. What the hell did you do to this slice..very disappointed .

This chain of bakeries is normally quite good, but the staff at this store are clueless.I purchased a sausage roll and two party pies, which were both barely warm. I also ordered a Neenish tart, which I put straight into the fridge when I got home. When I got around to opening it, I realized I'd been given something completely different.

Ordered a black Forrest cake for my mum's birthday from Michel's Altona Meadows. It was the driest cake we have ever had! Horrible, l will never buy again!

Stopped here a few months back after doing some shopping to buy a coffee. It was hot and not too strong (for my liking). The service wasn't too bad. Reasonably priced, have been to a few of their other stores in the past.

Michel's has some very nice coffee, you can also buy cakes, other drinks(soft drinks, hot choco, ect) and some breakfast items(toasties ect). Customer service is also very goos there.
