Hertz Car Rental - Regency Park Downtown HLE

hi,my name is Ravikumar Patel and i have hired a truck from hertztrucks Regency park, SA booked from 09/03/2023 4:30PM to 16/03/2023 4:30PM.i was travelling from Parafield Gardens, SA to Gympie, QLD and supposed to return back with truck on 16/03/2023. the truck provided by hurtz giving trouble and showing errors on system. i was traveling with my family with my wife, 4year old boy and 4month old baby when the truck broke down at 8:30AM 12/03/2023. i have contacted hertz roadside assistance to help me out with this situation but they are totally helpless. after around 20 calls to roadside assistance team, finally somebody came at 5:00PM and towed us away to gympie, QLD. it took 8 hours from 8:30 AM to 5:00PM to get help from roadside assistance team. they left me stranded with my 2kids and my wife. it is extremely disappointing service hertz provided.hertz didnt manage to get me a replacement vehicle to manage my rest of the journey . i have contacted hertztrucks roadside assistance and regencypark Branch for help manage the replacement vehicle but they showed their back to me and take no responsibility to bring me back home or getting me any replacement vehicle. i have managed to get return vehicle from hertztrucks gympie, QLD to travel back home on my own cost. so i have paid initially another amount to reach home back to adelaide on my own cost and hertz refused to cover my rest of journey home as well. this is a horrible experience from hertztrucks that they left me and my family stranded at middle of a journey and left us without any replacement vehicle to travel back to my home.i was hoping an apology from hertzteucks and full refund of the amount i have paid for the truck and the amount that i have manage to travel back to adelaide as a replacement vehicle. this is totally unacceptable behaviour from hertz staff and roadside assistance team that they left us with no help, i will make sure no one from my community,friends or neighbours will ever hire anything from hertztrucks. i have reported it to Branch manager at regency park but have nothing comes back in response either. its a huge disappointment and unexpected from hertz team.

Place is clean as always. Truck was clean and the price of the truck is a good price. The customer service when we arrived was the worst I have seen. The lady was rude, quick and made you feel that you were burding her when we were there. No walk around before we left like all other times and not refresher on the truck, just keys in the truck.Today when we dropped off the truck the lady was awesome as ever. Great customer service, great interpersonal skills.

Terrable service, no care or empathy at all from the manager on duty. We had a booking which we phone ahead of time to advise them wewould be late, we called the Hertz call centre they said they had spoken to the regency park staff to let them know we were coming. We arrived at 4:59pm. My wife was hit buy a teuck 2 weeks ago and isn't confident driving down a main highyway yet wo I had to go down after work. Admittedly they close at 5pm but as we drove in the gate the staff were already leaving to get into their cars! 5pm is the close of business right? So that means you start counting tills and closing up at 5pm, not 4:45pm or 4:50pm.. we travelled from the Barossa, which is close to an hour away and were greated with apsalute disregard and lack of empathy. The staff were more concerned about leaving early than helping a family out. Very disappointed, I will never go with regency park again! Hertz is a great company but your staff need to be moved on to non customer service roles or retrained to have an ounce of care for their customers.

No Care and Empathy also as per previous reviews. Rude manager, talked down to me like I didn't know how to talk english.Booked a moving truck, got a quotation from them, and confirmed with them on the phone if I can rent it out to move interstate. They were great friendly and very accommodating when i had to have the vehicle an extra 8 days due to catching covid... i was late with my return but im sure the owed deposit will go into my account...

A male staff named Michael or Michell is absolutely disgusting. Hung up on me because he had difficulty to understand me, and deliberately lied about the information I was asking for.Where did the management at this place find this clown? Fleamarket? No wonder they have such poor review. With such poor management and obviously unqualified staff I'm really curious how this place hasn't shut down yet.

Great customer service and pick up made easy. Just wished they would have let me know in advance that they couldn't fit the car seat so I didn't have to madly look for a place to fit the car seat before picking my daughter up that day.

Staff were good. Stung me for 48$ worth of fuel going into a tank I'd just filled up. I did 94km, put 15$ into it, drove 4km to their yard. Then somehow it takes another 10l? Sure.

Great customer service and a great range of trucks on hand. Always a favorite of mine and well recommended
