Glanmire Boarding Kennels

We left our smooth haired fox terrier Chilli" at Glanmire Boarding kennels for the first time recently and I have to say I am very happy with them."Chilli" came back very relaxed and happy. She is a quiet reserved dog who would not have come back that way if she had not settled in - she would have been distressed.As soon as she met Adrienne she was comfortable in her company ( she is a good judge of character - if she doesn't like someone she will avoid them) .She had plenty of runs

I normally take my two Labs to Glanmire and have been very happy with their service, they were always willing to accommodate me bringing my own food for the girls and photos posted on FB of them out playing. On the last occasion the girls could not get out of the office quick enough which is not their normal behaviour. I get home and one of my dogs was licking her foot constantly, her pad was swollen. Went to the Vets and she had a broken nail close to the pad…..$500 dollars lately!!!Contacted Glanmire for an update on their stay, I asked about them being socialised, and if anyonehad noticed her sore foot. Two days later I received a phone call response, they had no idea about her foot, and there was no other dogs for them to socialise with so makes me think did they get out for exercise? It took two days for my girls to be their happy selfs again!

Left our 2 great danes for the first time, couldn't be happier, dogs happy when collected. Great communication from staff highly recommend

The BEST cattery. I took my Mystro to Glanmire for about 14-16yrs and although it was like leaving your child at the school gates for the first time, he was ok and never had a problem. He settled in quickly and being with other cats was fine too. Service is exceptional and pick up/drop off times are great. I just ran into Michael today at the vets and it reminded me to put up a google review. Highly recommend.

I started taking my dog to the team at Glanmire in January 2023 for day care and the occasional overnight. I was nervous about it at first - how will she respond? Will she like it? Am I doing the right thing? All the guilty feelings that a dog owner goes through. It simply wasn’t possible to leave her at home - she’d never cope. Well, within a few days it was clear that she just loved it! It’s been great for socialisation, great for building independence, and helps her get the exercise she needs. Plus the fact I can get her washed and nails clipped as needed has been a real bonus. The team know their stuff, are respectful of their guests, and have a clear love of what they do and the personalities of all of the dogs coming through their gates. At times they have put my dog with one or two others in the yard to play but have only done this with permission and with a demonstrated understanding of the mix. My dog comes home each day happy and tired. She just loves it and I couldn’t be happier with the team. Thank you. I hope this review is useful for others.

Adrienne and her team at Glanmire are friendly, professional and provide wonderful care to our two, large American Bulldogs who stay on average about once a month. Our dogs are excited to arrive and always well exercised, fed and in great condition when we pick them up. I have no hesitation in recommending the team at Glanmire to look after your pet for peace of mind that they’re safe and very well cared for while you’re away.

Our male 9 month tri boarder collie Jett had a three week stay over Christmas and New Year and loved it!Thank you for helping him find new mates and looking after him so well. I've had a 12 year relationship with Glanmire. I recently found out when your plans change there are no refunds or option to take your dog home and be in advance payment for next visit. I recommend you don't pay in advance only deposit. Apparently they are very busy so a flexible relationship is not important. I'll be exploring my options.
