I call myself a documentary family photographer, which means that I come to your Brisbane home and take photos of you and your family - Playing. Baking. Swimming. Eating. Laughing - or crying (hopefully that’s just your toddler!) Whatever is happening, I’m there to photograph it.

Jess and Steve are the type of people who feel like old friends after your first meeting. They genuinely care for their clients and go out of their way for you. I have had the absolutely privilege of having Jess & Steve do our engagement photos, elopement and wedding photos. All three experiences were perfect. Jess and Steve blend into their surroundings and in doing so, capture the most beautifully intimate and natural photos. They are equally as talented at taking the 'staged' photos.If you're looking for a photographer to capture the way your day felt, you can't go past Jess & Steve.

We used Jess Marks Photography for our wedding as they had taken beautiful family photos for a relative. They were fantastic from start to finish. Jess and Steve were amazing to work with on the day and we couldn't be happier with our photos. Would definitely recommend for wedding photos.

I can’t recommend Jess Marks Photography more highly. Jess and Steve captured our Wedding day in 2013 so perfectly and Steve was keen to try out new things with slideshows for our reception which was amazing at the time!After our babes came along then, we had the pleasure of Jess coming to capture our ‘life’ once again in her photos. She’s a magician with the camera and fell into the background as our family played together. The photos we received back from the session were absolutely fabulous!Thanks Jess and Steve! Xx

We can’t recommend Jess enough! Her ability to capture candid moments that are not forced is a true talent. Her calm, relaxed energy is the perfect element to create these kind of moments!There were 19 of us in total and I wasn’t sure how she would pull it off but she did and every photo was magic. From start to finish Jess was so professional and open to ideas and worked with us but also had suggestions to help guide us in the right direction. Jess is one of those rare finds. She is truly magnificent at capturing those magical moments. Her ability to set you at ease and fade into the background makes you feel like it's only you and your loved ones there. Jess and Steve did such a beautiful job of our wedding pics, so naturally when we decided to have some photos taken as a little family of three we booked in again! Jess has such a lovely natural candid style, so if you tend to feel awkward in front of a camera you’ll appreciate her gentle and unobtrusive approach. As a Mum of young kids herself Jess was totally understanding and unfazed when our little one was having an off day, and still managed to capture lots of beautiful memories while working around a lively little one year old.

Jess and Steve from Jess Marks Photography were so incredibly wonderful when they photographed our wedding. They comepltely captured! Their photos capture the real moments - things I missed, things I don't want to forget, moments we laughed and moments we cried. Getting the final gallery and a slideshow of the highlights made my day. I can't stop smiling.
