I’ve had a number of different bakery items (pies, pasties, coffee scrolls and vanilla slices) from the Bairnsdale Bakehouse and all have been excellent.The most (pleasant) surprise has been the quality of the coffee, which I’d rate as one of the best I’ve ever had. Even the “extra large” comes with the extra shot(s) needed to give it the proper intensity, whereas most providers seem to feel that just adding milk is all that is required.

Bought some sweet treats on a whim today after a trip to K hub. 3 neenish tarts for 3 kids, an apple turnover for me and a jelly slice for the wife. Kids seem ok but jelly slice had mould so got thrown out and I thought the Apple turnover was a bit funky. Fast forward a few hours and I am now seated and having my rear quarter shooting liquid at the bowl, but at least the nausea has subsided. I don't like leaving bad feedback except to warn others. Buyer beware

Staff member was a bit rude,I've only been there twice and it's happened both times so I don't know if I want to go back. Food is lovely.

Went in to get some pies and savouries for a late lunch and got no service, an older lady with blondish-gray hair with glasses gave us a rude look and then walked away without a word. Ended up leaving anyway as there was no products in the pie warmer..

I twisted my ankle in your doorway step yesterday and fell down on the ground. I had trouble seeing the step properly because of the streamers hanging there. None of the staff came to check on me or offered assistance. The two stars are for your amazing customers. One lady helped me up and another man asked if I was ok. I really hate to leave a bad reveiw as I work in a cafe, but I've actually hurt myself quite a lot. As I was eating my lunch outside another women also stumbled on the step.
