Mid point between Black Caviar Memorial & Visitor's Centre - all in one stretch. This is the middle vantage point overlooking Lake Nagambie. 15 mins walk from Nagambie train station. Great view across.

Stunning views of Lake Nagambie

Drove to Nagambie for a picnic on Christmas day. We got there about 11.30am. We had the pick of spots so we placed our mat under a large shady tree. The grass was green and lush.There were these cool picnic tables/benches with shelter. See pics..The car was parked mere metres away on the side of road... not much traffic so it was fine.We ate lunch. There was a nice breeze off the water. More people started showing up as we were finishing so we packed up to let them have our spot.We went for a walk along the boardwalk and into town. We used the public loo's..... boys loo's smelled REALLY BAD.It got too warm so we jumped in the car and drove to Goulburn Weir.

Went there during Christmas holidays. The information center lady is extremely helpful. She definitely understand her jobs and her town well and able to explain and provide the advice. It was a great place to relax and the overview of the Nagambie Lake.
