Country Values Holiday Homes

Initially everything was going well, we were 3 families and 1 couple. Host was helpful overthe fone, however we had few more families join us but they were only planning a day trip, so they had lunch with us where we were staying. They eneded up liking the place so we booked another 2 chalets as there was no way we were going to fit in the same house. Anyhow had a good night and stay, and on the day of check out we cleaned the place religiously, it was almost the exact same as when we entered except the bathroom was wet obviously after having our showers. They didn't supply bed sheets to any of the rooms except 1 queen and 1 king bed, so we had to bring our own. Tried to call Leah before leaving but she didn't pick up and left he a message to let her know we had clean the place very thoroughly, dont know why we did as its a holiday stay and we already paid the $100 cleaning fee!!!!! So we get home and next day get an email saying the cleaners had to clean the place for 7 hours extra, what a joke, I regret I didn't take a full video of the place before and after as I would of gone public with this if I had, very shocked and disappointed about this. Will not stay with this company again. The house furniture is already old and carpets are dirty. Will not be coming back, thanks, ohh after they heard my side of the story they gave me 90$ back. It wasn't about the money anyway, its the honesty that the place was not in need of a 7hour clean, as if it was a rental property due for a vacate clean, just ridiculous

If I could leave less than one star, I would. Country Values Holiday Homes cancelled our New Years Eve accommodation 10 days out, citing a 'double booking' with AirBnb. Spoke to an aptly named 'Karen' who offered no apology, explanation or plan B. Where's your Xmas spirit, Karen? 0/10, would not recommend.

Easy to deal with, great homes available

I would not stay with this company's homes again.A ruined weekend for what we had planned because the oven did not work at the Sand Dunes property. The owner was selling so obviously did not care about the people renting the house. On complaining to the management we were told that the owner was aware and there was nothing they could do. We had planned a big family roast. Totally wasted. No offer of compensation. Absolutely disgusted not to hear a response from the management after I sent an email expressing my upset on returning home.We COULD have made alternate arrangements had we been told before that the oven was not working. I waited simply out of hope that I would receive a response before posting this review. A waste of my time - but hoping so save some unsuspecting family of the same situation. VERY POOR SHOW.

Denise, Shona, Leah, and all the crew and cleaners do an awesome job of the many holiday rentals they manage - which are booked back to back during peak times. Working 7 days a week at times and past office hours, trying to make sure everyone has an awesome holiday - You all have my vote :)

Property advertised did not live up to expectations, website pictures or description. Attempts to get assistance were ignored and no response from local management. We only stayed 1 night and came home. 3 very upset children. 2 very unhappy parents. After so many years staying in Guilderton and Lancelin with other companies without issues......

Just got back from Sea Change. Place was fantastic. So much room. The wrap around deck was great so you could still sit outside even if windy. Had everything you needed in the kitchen. Kristen our contact was very professional.

What I know about, Country Values Holiday Homes, is that, Shona is a great, agent. It is always a pleasure, dealing with her. I recommend, Shona, and Country Values, very highly.

The process of booking and checking in was effortless, everyone involved from CVH were very professional, we had a great family holiday, the house was well presented and Leah was fantastic, wouldn't hesitate using CVH again or staying Ledge, there was 3 families and we all had a brilliant holiday, well done CVH and Ledge Point was fantastic.

Budget means affordable, not borderline health hazard but apparently this company does not care. The property condition was shameful: filthy floors instantly discolored the bottom of our feet, human hair found throughout the kitchen, cobwebs at least 1 month old throughout the property, etc. The owner asked for proof via photos of this condution, can you imagine?! Luckily I have it. Their response time to communication is a joke, especially from Kristen. No, your company is not obligated" to notify guests that reception is bad in the area (unless you have Telstra or Optus)
