Plumpton Hotel
Not happy with the service for the motel, l booked a Triple room for my Daughter in Law and Granddaughter for the night. I ended up with a queen room, when we went to reception to query it we were told there was nothing they could do about it we were told that we should have rang them, why do you have to ring when you book online. I feel that if l wanted a queen room l would have booked it. I wanted separate beds for my Granddaughter as she has two babies at home and I wanted her to have a goodnight sleep, which obviously didn't happen. The sink tap dripped all night. The receptionist was quite rude. Definitely wouldn't recommend it for anyone.

Food is reasonably good for the price, although there’s always only a small serving of chips on the plate but the reason why I’ve chosen to write a review is because I have been here numerous times and each occasion the lady on the till in the bistro is quite rude and blunt. I think I overheard her name was ‘Kim’. Management needs to tell Kim to talk in a more polite manner to customers and at-least try and crack a smile once in a while, if she is unable to do that she shouldn’t be working in a customer service role.

Food very ordinary, a 400 gram Schnitzel was more likely a 300 gram portion. Sauces were stingey. Just average pub-grub.

Very disappointing moments lived staff &patrons don’t care about some one watching over your head stalking you, very racism, not happy, disrespectful, very poor service and managementWe go after work to have couple drinksStaff count your drinks, watching from camerasAnd staff talking behind peoples back, not very nicePeople get punched in the face too muchviolent

Held our sons 21st at the hotel, all the staff were so accommodating and helpful. The staff had setup all the tables, we just had to the decorating. The food that we had organised was well timed and excellent quality. This made our evening stress free and enjoyable.

Always great food, very generous portion sizes. My wife loves this place for its Schnitzels alone. Kids keep themselves occupied with colouring in, puzzles or in the play area.Note: Did not use the rooms but was not going to 1 star them for that.

New dining area is nice. Just teach the chef to cook a nice steak. Well done doesn't have to resemble a piece of wood!

Bar and bistro looked fine, beers were fresh/cold/cheap.I counted 10 cockroaches in my room and even saw a few scuttling around the bistro floor... Place has an insect issue for sure.
