Easy to access but poorly signposted. There is a dirt carpark next to the bus stop on the main road, access is from there. At the moment don't try to drive any further as the road is washed out but that's ok its a short walk.The colour of the water is beautiful and worth a visit. No picnic areas or other facilities.

Awesome spot to relax and enjoy some time by the water, water is nice and cool. Can easily access via bus stop on main road where gravel park is, or if you have a 4x4 drive up via the same entry into the area. Great for anyone and all ages

I went there recommended by a friend. Very muddy way, full of crazy holes, where bored people take their 4x4 and play splattering the mud everywhere. Weird setting resembling a post-apocalyptic oasis. I am color blind so maybe because of that I could not appreciate the electric blue" of the water. There is a different access to the spot

What an amazing experience. The water color will blow you away. By the end of the swim there were plenty of people enjoying the water to cool off. Will be back again for sure.

A gorgeous place to spend the afternoon. We relaxed by the water in a shady area underneath some trees, and were nearly the only people there. The blue water is stunning, and we spotted a few ducks in the water. There is a rope swing on the other side of the quarry, and parking is closest to the main road.

Bexhill Quarry
Next time you're in Northern NSW pop in to Bexhill Quarry. 40 minutes outside of Byron Bay, this little gem is a great spot to take photos. Though swimming isn't advised as the water is highly acidic, there were still a heap of people here in the water.Park your car down on the sealed road and walk up the dirt track to the quarry, the track was slush after the rain.
