Stopped here on our way home to the Barossa Valley for a meal based on the previous good reviews. The meals where average at best. My Wife ordered the Satay Prawns and actually got sweet chilli prawns..no sign of any peanuts.. I had the chicken parmi, which was just alright..Certainly not the best I've had, but not the worst either. We sat in a small room off to the end of the bar as the dining room wasn't open to get away from the swearing yahoos at the other end of the bar. Next time we will try the take away across the road. Probably wouldn't revisit.

Visited it twice on the way to and from Motorfest in Adelaide. Dined on both visits. The meals are above average 'pub food', and be warned, the portion sizes are HUGE, and very very tasty.

Great old pub, friendly staff. Meals were a proper pub meal, very nice and a value for the price. Price was about half for other places we visited.

Booked last minute as we weren’t able to get a place in Horsham over the long weekend. Contrary to some of the earlier reviews, the rooms are quite modern - they must have been refurbished recently. It was a clean, large room with a comfy bed. Would definitely stay over on a long drive again

Given hotel accommodation has a certain standard as a rule, especially really old girls. I was blown away by the quality of my room. It was spacious, stylish in design and the ensuit was great. Stay again without hesitation next time through.

Stopover in Nhill on our way to Yarrawonga. Caravan park very friendly and once settled decided to walk in to town for a pub dinner. Asked if we could bring our “support” dog in and were told no. And barman not interested in allowing any form of assistance animal on to premises. There were 4 of us and seeing how quiet the pub was we would’ve contributed favourably to their daily takings. Other pub was most welcoming to our support dog - unfortunately no dining room. We do however understand why the friendly takeaway in the Main Street were so busy - friendly and great food!

An old country pub in Nhill. The Parma was nice ( classic salad of beetroot, coleslaw, iceberg lettuce tomato cucumber and pineapple) and chips .
